Maybe the panic buying wasn't such a bad idea... All shops in the village are shut and both roads out of the village are closed. :umm2: 'tis indeed a wintery apocalypse! And we ate all of our snacks yesterday :fist:.

I think I might also have to have white coffee instead of full lattes to ration milk. :bawling: someone please send help!

:joker::joker: really glad I had my weekly shop delivered 2days early.
Now hoping it all clears up before we run out of anything.
Always have a box of 6litres of long life in the garage TS.

..I had a hospital appointment so I had to drive out...the main roads are ok...I think the small roads are pretty grim though...I popped into town on the way back...it was eerily quiet, no panic buyers.....I’m not sure how many shops are open because I only went to the Bank and that’s opening for shorter hours atm ....

Nicky91 01-03-2018 09:37 AM

Ohhh, just had a thought, couldn’t get my insulin yesterday as they only keep small supplies at the pharmacy, supposed to be getting it in today hopefully.
But made me think, what about people stuck in the sticks, needing meds, or midwives etc. The helicopters will be working overtime, providing its blizzard free.

user104658 01-03-2018 12:07 PM

My street is totally blocked now :umm2:... Cars ain't going nowhrr. Seriously glad I'm on holiday from work, I literally wouldn't be able to get there and I can pretty much guarantee my pay would be docked.

Can this snow **** OFF honestly

It's not mild or really bad either here. It's just annoyingly in the middle.

I keep thinking of all the wildlife and nature springing into action in a few weeks for spring and truly hope all this ****ing snow and cold is gone by then :( :fc:

Crimson Dynamo 01-03-2018 01:50 PM

Made it to the post office and back up the hill in white roads, just have to make sure you dont meet a car on way down as you need a run at it in 3 gear ideally
