Seriously I wish so so so much bad luck on that woman, I hope she doesn't get custody of her kid.

Bull.

The ratings wouldn't have been better whether she was in there or not.

How many times must it be said, you cannot expect a show to just increase in ratings after a decade and more of taking fans for a ride and many, many bad decisions. It takes more than a week of a well produced series to get people's faith back in the show.

BigBrudder 24-08-2018 11:33 AM

Its certainly not all Stormys fault but at the same time if she brought in more eyeballs to see the significant changes, the show could have won back some old viewers and gained some new ones.

I really don't think anyone would have given a damn about some old hooker whose only claim to fame is sucking the dick of a widely despised man. I mean what can you ask her? "What did his dick taste like?" It's not like Omarossa, who was given a job at the White House where she can embellish her relevance and pander to a receptive media. I don't think Omarossa had much impact in terms of ratings on CBBUS, but this woman offers nothing.

You can't really claim that it would have made for enthralling television to watch her decide who takes cold showers and who loses their suitcase, rather than Kirstie.

The ratings suck because the cast is appalling and because of the negative tone of the show.

When did Natalie make worldwide news? Stormy has hot the headlines all over the world every day of the last week

Elliot 24-08-2018 12:42 PM

How many people would’ve stayed tuning in to that boring person?

Denver 24-08-2018 12:43 PM

Also imagine wishing a women losing custody over a child just because the ratings of a TV show is down

No idea what you're talking about.

They can write as many headlines as they want, nobody cares. Nobody finds it surprising or interesting that Donald Trump visited a prostitute. She's not relevant.

supertv247 24-08-2018 03:53 PM

The overnight average is currently 1.32m which is the exact same as last summer

She can get her child back some day in the future, but not the CBB experience and being interviewed by Ryan

supertv247 24-08-2018 04:33 PM

Well then

Really? I thought it would be sub 1.30m at this point.

Rob! 25-08-2018 09:34 AM

So last night did fairly decently

1.29m +1 (8%) - highest summer eviction since 2016.

Meanwhile, the launch has consolidated to 2.54m

Greg! 25-08-2018 10:20 AM

Oop that's actually quite good. Watch it decline now the main sources of entertainment are out

supertv247 25-08-2018 10:45 AM

Launch night officially averaged 2.52 million which is the most watched launch since series 19!
Up 120k on January and up 400k on last summer. A consolidation of 540k makes it the highest EVER for a launch episode

Greg! 25-08-2018 10:47 AM

Not trying to sound thick but what does consolidated mean? Does that include catchup viewers etc?

The consolidated figure is the official rating, it is the overnight +7 day catch up together (as of September it'll also include on demand viewing figures)

Bigbrother2015 25-08-2018 10:59 AM

I only ever watch it on demand on channel 5s website and i can imagine alot of others do too so that should help!

Has last nights rating pulled this up slightly?

No, because it was 1.30 it pulled the 1.32 average down every so unnoticeably.

However, the WHOLE CBB20 average was 1.32m. The first week alone 1.53, and the second week was 1.19.
So just now if you split it the same, then the first week of this series was 1.47m and the second week is at 1.23m, so down on the first week then up on the second week and exactly the same over all.

(just FYI - the first week last year was Tuesday - Saturday whereas we only had Thursday - Saturday this year, which is why it's lower despite launch being higher)

Hope that clears it up haha

Do we think this series will beat CBB20’s average?

I think it definitely will on officials, although I’m not so sure about overnights

That's good. Nice and steady.

Week 3 averaged 1.27 and Week 4 incl Final averaged 1.36m last year so not sure if it'll manage, but I definitely think it will in officials, the first glimpse at them looks like they're gonna be huge this year.

Rob! 26-08-2018 10:13 AM

We’re at 920k EXCL +1 (8%) for last night. Haven’t seen the +1 figure anywhere yet.
