Damn this is depressing I thought there would be a ratings spike lol
C5 could’ve done a lot for this series including promo a better time slot even a better term to do it in that wasn’t so close to Cbb but nope emerdol is planning on selling the show to another channel so let’s do everything in our power to make sure it tanks!!!

Get Ben frow out

pontyboi 18-09-2018 10:25 PM

I think The Circle on Channel 4 is going to annihilate BB watched it earlier and is actually really good.

Though they would literally only have to get over 700k to do this so...

AProducer'sWetDream 18-09-2018 10:55 PM

Yeah I think BB will be absolutely crushed tonight. the twitter hashtag is completely dead. Has it dipped below 500k before?

Elliot 18-09-2018 10:58 PM

Oh well good sis Roxanne tried to revive her but she is no match for the overproduced other garbage reality shows and Ben frows incompetence xx

supertv247 18-09-2018 10:59 PM

It got 450k against the Olympic opening and again during the closing ceremony... that’s it

Was it that low? I thought it only dropped to 600k when Lauren was evicted?

Rob! 19-09-2018 12:48 AM

The Circle is going to kill the ratings off completely. It was very well received on Twitter and I can't see BB getting anymore than about 500k for the next few weeks :(

I know and is still trending on Twitter hours after the show.

BB didn't even show up tonight.

I think people think BB is just to old school especially the younger viewers who literally were born when the 1st BB was launched. I have an 18 year old brother and he doesn't understand why I like it so much.

He gets that its in popular culture but would never watch it.

supertv247 19-09-2018 09:00 AM

5.5 million for bake off...

1 million for the circle...

a flop. Maybe bb actually has a chance to win tonight

supertv247 19-09-2018 09:56 AM

682k (6.6%) for BB last night. Outside of the 2012 Olympic clashes, second lowest rating of all time...

.

AProducer'sWetDream 19-09-2018 10:56 AM

Better than I was expecting but still God-awful :joker:

Greg! 19-09-2018 10:59 AM

She'll hopefully reach the stratospheric heights of 700k tonight! :fc:

DIRE for The Circle considering how much it's been promoted. Literally featured on every C4 ad break for about 3 weeks, always promoted on social media, and billboard and bus posters. And still it flopped!

Elliot 19-09-2018 11:00 AM

I think we just have to concede people don’t care about this show anymore. After c5 has well and truly overkilled it to the ground and the last time it was well and truly relevant was like a decade ago....

But also like I don’t wanna live in a world where love island gets 4mil and Bb barely scrapes 600k lol

Well clearly there are people that care but nowhere near as many as there used to. It's a cult show with a core audience of about a million when you take into account online viewing figures. I think Netflix or somewhere similar would be a good home for it and hopefully endemol can persuade them!

Greg! 19-09-2018 11:03 AM

I'm Channel 4 losing 4.5 million viewers in the time between Bake Off ending and The Circle beginning

Yeah I just mean the general public. It’s only ever actually talked about after some huge controvocy then it fades back into its devote audience. It’s more of a relic at this point in the general public consensus, which is kinds bleh to come to terms with considering how much ****ty love island is talked about by like everyone asdfg. At least they can cash in on the publics weird obsession with celebrities with Cbb!

Also I’m bots probably getting like 100k or less

Rob! 19-09-2018 11:36 AM

Awful. Even if The Circle flops, it’s still going to hit BB badly.

Rob! 19-09-2018 11:37 AM

But yeah that’s terrible for The Circle. Freddie did that?

This is hilarious because they paid hundreds of thousands to skip those adverts - it went straight from bake off into the circle and everyone still didn't care :hehe:

supertv247 19-09-2018 12:00 PM

682k (6.4%) is awful BUT it's up on the C5 average for 10pm by 2.2% share points and the 16-34 demo is up nearly 50% - even a **** rating for bbuk is exceptional for Channel 5.

Rob! 19-09-2018 12:53 PM

So thus far it’s lost 223k from launch.

MTVN 19-09-2018 01:16 PM

I think normal BB just feels like a relic of the noughties to most people now and the news it was being cancelled just reinforced that. CBB will always have a bit more appeal cos celebrity culture has endured quite strongly and there'll always be that curiosity about what a celeb is 'actually like'

supertv247 20-09-2018 08:46 AM

Wednesday 19th

Big Brother - 700k
The Circle - 400k

Some good ratings news I guess

Jake. 20-09-2018 09:04 AM

Ffff
