She also had certain types of guns banned in 24 hours which is no time at all considering countries like The US and their stance on guns and gun related deaths.

It takes a special type of leader to go all in with their heart and not just the head

It's probably sickening to watch but I'm kinda curious, is the video online?

Could this bloke have played too many video games?

No. Let’s not link the two please, he carried out the actions of a hateful, racist terrorist, not a Call of Duty fanatic.

Don’t you be coming for our games Parmo :fist:

Imo games don’t cause violent attacks. The perpetrator has to have something not right upstairs already.
People don’t just play COD or Duke Nukem and decide to go on a killing spree.

his video cam was clearly inspired by such games, but streaming the event was the least of his crimes lets be honest.

Not unless they’re about 15 years old. Let’s not make excuses for the actions of a grown-arse man.

Already accepted that fact? So what's your problem this time?

just tired of your nonsense

just coming up with stuff like video games or mental problems,
anything to deflect from the real problem of far right terrorism

read his manifesto and read what security experts say

I worry about what goes through your head at times, you should take a break from the forum perhaps.

imo, labelling terrorism causes more terrorism.

What a wonderfully sensitive thing to say to someone who’s battled depression. Watch your mouth.

don't worry about my head

worry about your own conscience

calling out terrorism is the honest thing to do, not burying your head in the sand and pretending it's something else

Its now 50 dead in total dead
sadly.

The killer now arrested was acting alone
he made sure he had a car full of military weapons
many adapted.

It's say it's more as BOTS says here, Parm... he may have been inspired to stream it and use the headcam due to modern gaming / streaming but I think it's a stretch to say that it played any part in triggering or causing the attack. He also shouted "don't forget to subscribe to Pewdiepie" on the stream. It seems more like he did all of these "extras" to gather as much attention as possible (as ultimately, that is the goal in a terrorist attack) so he utilised a lot of these things to do that. The motivation for doing it is, sadly, the ever-increasing levels of hatred and violence we're seeing towards immigrants and minorities, and the fact that it's being tolerated and even celebrated by certain sections of society. A lot of rage out there, and a lot of twisted ideologies.

Let's not scapegoat the actions of a white terrorist on video games or mental health issues.

Renaud Gabriel Camus is a French writer of both prose fiction and political polemics. He founded his own minor political party, characterized as a blend of left and right politics. He has written about homosexuality and gay rights.

.isn't this the guy who's ideas he was transfixed by?

Vid here about that. This guy thinks he said that about Pewdiepie to get the left to turn on him.

Denver 18-03-2019 09:54 AM

The scumbags family has disowned him and want him to face a death penalty

Denver 18-03-2019 09:58 AM

Also an 18 year old has been arrested and denied bail and is facing 14 years in prison for sharing the live stream and posting pics of the mosque with the caption Target acquired

Had I known it would indeed have been in fact an extremely insensitive thing to say...but guess what, I didn't. ..

However Twosugars, I do apologise if I caused you angst....I doubt I did but if I did I apologise
