I can’t think of like more than 4 (active) users that i would write up about in a Controversy situation it would literally be people running out of names and just putting ‘bbfan20008754 I guess???? Idk they probably smell like beef flaps’

caprimint 30-05-2019 11:33 AM

I could easily find about 10 people I can't ****ing stand without even thinking too hard

Sorry but I will still always prefer most hated and am gutted we aren't allowed it. This puts me off ML because..well I prefer reading peoples 'real' opinions on me than them trying to be as nice as possible. much much funnier, though I do get why its banned when we are trying to get rid of negativity..didn't really see it as negative though as..while a few members were actually hated most likely, most just used it as a way to get in random snipes. Plus, am more likely to place in most hated :L

IIRC smithys reasons were ****ing amazing too, proper paragraphs

Ugh, the utter VENOM I'd spew now if it was still a thing :flutter:

IIRC you could only vote for a few if you wanted to..just your answers would be weighteD? Like, if you picked 4, the first on your list would get 4 points instead of 10. Something like that..that might have been one year of ML actually.

There's no character limit so don't feel you need to limit your glowing review of me Miss Rihce.

Ha, I can imagine! :hehe:

Its another thing that basically tends to cause a huge blowout argument, then everything seems quite calm for a bit afterwards. Like when we let one of those argument threads just run and run. Its good for the forum I think, to get it all out every now and again..fairly sure James disagrees though..

I’m a pure non-hateful gal (◡‿◡✿)

It would just lead to a record number of bans & infractions. And probably awkwardness.

I think really that it just gives everybody a chance to say everything, so potentially after there's more ~tension because then people have to go back to being 'civilised' but then it could go the opposite way as well. :suspect:

I dunno, but it was really entertaining last time :hehe: And tbf the forum would probably come ALIVE then, I'd say it doesn't matter much anyway now BB is over.

Might be misremembering this but..I think we did away with infractions for that thread? Or would certainly have not treat it the same as other threads.

Like the big blowout argument threads we allow, generally we just don't mod them unless something seriously bad is said, else half the forum would be banned and..whats the point in allowing people to blow off steam then infracting them for it really..

Admin never seem to impressed when we have purposely let an argument run though in the hope people get it all out of their system. And sometimes, it doesnt work and just gets dragged to other threads. Sometimes..it does make a bit of calm for a bit though.

A roast thread would be a better thing. The roast participant would have to volunteer themselves and give people permission to do that obviously.

People can opt out (obviously) of controversy too though, it's the same difference
