Tough episode to watch. Nobody did stand out in the challenge apart from Jimbo obviously.
The judging is still....I mean I feel like I'm repeting myself week after week so I can't do it again.
Finally Jimbo said something about the bull**** that is happening with the panel. Her runway look was fine and different from what you can typically expect. She's different, let her craft shine instead of always bringing her down. She should have won this week.
The way she read Rita's hair :skull: Jimbo was pissed.

Scarlett gave us Season 12 Jan's face crack vibes. :joker:
Ilona and Priyanka were the right bottom 2 and Ilona the rightful evictee.

So I am a week behind but Ilona being body shamed by Jeffeey enraged me so much especially as the lip sync was to an anthem about body confidence.

I actually enjoy Canada Drag Race a lot, I think it's better than Britain's Drag Race in fact but Jeffrey is clearly the weakest link by far, he is genuinely one of the worst judges I've ever seen.

OK so this week the judging was a little better? Or maybe I'm getting used to it and it still sucks. I meant, it still sucks, but it was less harsh than previous weeks? Idk.

I usually don't like makeover challenges, because the episodes tend to be boring and most of it is people crying left and right with sob stories.
I really don't get the judging scale for those makeovers, even in US DR. It seems to be changing every season. I really never know what they're looking for.

It's really a filler kind of episode. BUT this week was good. I love what they did with this charity, that dude from Jamaica was FINE, and the looks weren't bad (except Rita's)
Obviously Priyanka deserved her win, it was really engaging.
I cannot with the judges towards Jimbo. She really turned one of the best look this week, had a full narrative that they label "incomfortable". Girl, this is Drag! It's not meant to be PC. Get over it, this is Jimbo's style.

Not really surprised at the bottom two, the lipsync was very good though. No, not a double shantay, but good.

I love make over episodes, one of my favourites. Jimbo absolutely served it, I can’t at the “too sexual” critiques when that was the theme and Jimbo has served camp plenty of times. Lemon’s was rightfully horrible that make up made her sister look over 60 :skull:

I actually thought Rita’s was quite good? I liked the theme of the clown aesthetic.

This episode is the epitome of how the judges can use the "we didn't get the family resemblance!" excuse to justify the most insane decisions, holy **** what were they on this week

(like, even the mini challenge was won by the person who did the worst, I didn't know it was even possible to judge a mini challenge poorly)

I love Priyanka but I really don't get how Jimbo didn't win. The resemblance was uncanny, the outfits were sensational considering she created them herself and I thought they generally had the cleanest looks out of all the pairs. I liked Priyanka's makeover a lot but I thought there was something a bit rough about it.

Rita's looks weren't great but I thought they were put together well enough to be safe. I think Scarlet should have been in the bottom with Lemon tbh. The costumes were too contrasting to the point they looked ugly.

I kinda wish there was a double shantay as well since I liked both Rita and Lemon's lipsync.

and somehow I can't see this stopping any time soon, given what Brita's quite publicly gone through recently, given that Jeffrey just deleted his Twitter and given the fact that just yesterday I saw people in Roxxxy's Instagram comments, in 2020, telling her that her parents were right to leave her at a bus stop

This fandom is so toxic :skull: It really is problematic and horrible.

Why are the fans so toxic, I mean it's just a show. I'd never tweet a queen bad things that would be hurtful.

tbh the earlier series of Drag Race were much nicer to follow, I used to enjoy watching and then going on twitter but I barely look anymore because the more it's become mainstream the worse the fandom has become

Yeah exactly. You could tell the girls were not bothered by their image on social media. For instance the first moments when the two groups of queens in S6 met would have caused chaos today. Gia's "there's room for everybody" and other comments were probably the shadiest minute in DR history, yet they didn't care. I can't imagine the "backrolls" comment etc today. It was raw, sometimes problematic indeed, but overall fun. I don't check/read RPDR stuff on social media anymore, it's so heinous.

Jimbo not making it to the top 3 doesn't make sense with my fantasy, but K.

Rita should have gone home tbh I didn't like any of the 3 looks (the last one was the best out of the 3 but I wasn't impressed). But that never was going to happen given her track record.
Scarlett coming through last minute was nice. Priyanka's last look was a choice, but she did the best she could. Both did a good job this week.

When JBC said that Jimbo's outfits being unpolished was a constant critique throughout the season. When exactly? She litterally gave most of the best looks this season. Another not understandable critique. Him being nice to Jimbo at the end was fake as hell.

And you can tell the judging is wrong when you hear Michelle talking to the queens. Yes sometimes she's tough, but not harsh to the point it's uncomfortable. We need her as a full-time judge next season instead of JBC.

At this point I'm rooting for Priyanka to win, but Rita will probably take the crown.

still haven't watched since BOA was eliminated, primarily because I knew this was coming and did not care about any of the top 3 enough to want one to win :sad:

Rita or Priyanka would be fine I guess but... eh... this season's sucked.
