Telling people details about private conversations that you were involved in is not "an invasion of someone elses privacy". It might be breaking that person's trust, but to be honest, only if there was an understanding between involved parties that it was to be kept private. You can't have a conversation with someone and one-sidedly insist that it's private :idc:.
I will concede that telling everyone about the status of William's foreskin might be a slight invasion of privacy :hehe:. He could just have mentioned his own, and let people draw their own conclusion about Willy's willy.
