However, the reply was pretty funny.

Anyone who actually takes that up needs a slap.

That must be a joke?

My concern is it more that it entirely misses the point of the entire current movement... which is that it SHOULDN'T just concern "the black students" and the whole point is that all people of all races are getting involved in supporting racial equality. Thus, if they're saying "we understand that this is important and is taking time away from studies" - which it is, and it might - ...that applies to all students. Many students from all backgrounds are (and should be) making a priority of this... so if there's to be consideration of that, it needs to take that into account. Otherwise, it only compounds the issue.

It's not like there isn't very recent precedent by the way; most Universities have cut grade boundaries (and even removed entire assessments) in the wake of Covid, e.g. my wife's Masters modules each had an essay assessment cancelled and her overall grade will be based on the assessments that had been done before March + dissertation.

I do not think so.

That is abit of a joke.

Very interesting to see certain reactions when a blatant unfair advantage in life actually favours black people for once rather than cripples them though.

Wasn't brexit about being able to help our own rather than foreigners? Who exactly is more of our own than poor, hungry kids?

bots 18-06-2020 02:56 PM

coming from the woman who cheated to get on the Apprentice to get a free handout from Alan Sugar, it's quite something

Liam- 18-06-2020 03:00 PM

She’s honestly just a desperate butch, resorting to appealing to her base by being ‘offended’ by feeding hungry children, people like her need to be put on an island together so they can be angry at eachother

user104658 18-06-2020 03:06 PM

Yuck, it's an extra special breed of twitter mold that creeps out to argue that feeding hungry children is a waste of public funds.

Liam- 18-06-2020 03:09 PM

The gag is that she relies on donations from her brain dead fans to feed her kids

b) Judging people on their "priorities" and lecturing about budgeting when this woman just about swerved bankruptcy last year by being forced to sell her house?
I suppose that wasn't her fault?

c) She should take off the jam jars before filming herself, that too is not a good look.

"Our own" not including the poor? Oh what a shocker.

Maybe they could help Katie out of her million pound "financial predicament".
