I’d largely agree with this sentiment.. I’ve not read through the thread to know what he’s referring to ‘specifically’ but I can speak from experience and say that , generally speaking , people do sadly tend to pick on individuals who simply have a differing opinion to the masses or look at something from a different point of view .

Well they're not not-thugs, that behaviour is clearly thuggish, but language like that doesn't help.

Same goes for controlling the riots - yes, obviously there should have been swifter and more effective responses, but "when the looting starts, the shooting starts", really?!

The rioters have every right to be violent, black african americans have and still face oppression. They’re literally being killed. The system forces violence upon them so the establishment is met with violence.

Most the people trying to brush off their ignorance as a “different opinion” I’m going to guess now are probably mostly white and heterosexual. You have no idea what it’s like to being oppressed or be a minority.

There’s sufficient evidence online of undercover white police officers starting fires.
