Oi oiii

MTVN 07-07-2021 11:31 PM

Southgate you're the one

MTVN 07-07-2021 11:32 PM

Glad I was in the pub for this game because, reading back the last few pages, this thread is a right shambles

Proud to be English tonight - of our team, our manager and our ethos

And we were the better side tonight and won that game fair and square

I think he is mature enough to know it was a tactical decision, nothing to do with his ability, he gets the biggest cheers from the crowd, and his transfer fee when it happens will be massive, somehow I think he will be okay

Fans demand Gareth makes big decisions and when he does he does they don’t like it, you can’t have it both ways

Yeah I think Gareth would have made sure Jack knew the reasons they took him off. There are a lot in the squad who have had far less game time....Rashford for one.

No he shouldn't, he'd just fouled the Danish player 2 seconds beforehand and the ref was stopping the match for that

I don't think we were the better side.

I think both teams played very well. There were times England were very sloppy, particularly first half where Denmark had a lot more control of the ball...first 10 minutes England, then Denmark.... Second half England recovered and were particularly strong in the last 30 minutes.

It was an extremely close win. England had a lot more opportunities and if it wasn't for Denmark's goalkeeper being very good then they would have scored more..... And as for the goal with penalty, we were very luxkyy

I'd hardly say we're the better team, but we did win so fair ****s to them.

My opinion is not bias either because I don't normally watch football.

It was a tight match, but England looked more energised in extra time

Ironic that the country that gave us the fairytale actually gave England the fairytale

I'm Irish actually but I support England if the Republic aren't playing

These thing happen in football...hand of God and all that

Yes much more energised and the opposite for Denmark.

Denmark were exhausted come extra time.

Don't forget that it was never a foul for the free kick Denmark scored from

The foul on Kane was a stonewall penalty

MTVN 08-07-2021 08:38 AM

England's xG (expected goals) - 2.84

Denmark - 0.25
