Good luck to you because I've searched and can't find anything when I search for it (other than people claiming she said it)

But people think it's ok, because she's a woman.

Who thinks that's OK?

Vanessa 09-05-2022 12:57 PM

Her sexual abuse story was stolen from her ex assistant. It happened to her and Amber took the story and made or about herself.
Funny how she never mentioned this incident in her original statement.

She won the UK case. So UK law thinks it's ok for a woman to be violent.
Also some of her supporters said that we should support her even if she's guilty.

I definitely saw it.
Quoting movies is not a crime, but it just seems a bit odd to me.

Did she? I didn't think Kate ever commented on that accusation

Vanessa 09-05-2022 01:00 PM

The UK judge saw the evidence and instantly dismissed it.
The US judge thinks that Johnny didn't get a fair trial in the UK and I agree.

Vanessa 09-05-2022 01:01 PM

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
But I'm firmly on Johnny Depp side.

The UK case wasn't about whether or not Amber was violent though, he sued them for making up "lies" about him being violent and that court found that he had in fact been violent towards her

She made a statement. She talks highly of him. Saw it on twitter yesterday. I'll see if I can find it.
Now I'm at work, I'll have a look later.

Only because they believed Amber.
Even though she admits on tape to being violent. This was ignored.

Vanessa 09-05-2022 01:04 PM

I have to go to work now. We'll talk later.

It's not about whether she was violent though, I think we can all agree that she was, the reason for both cases though is whether HE was violent because he's suing her and in the UK he sued a Newspaper for saying that he was and he's saying that isn't true. It seems to me like they were both violent and volatile in that relationship

Also, as we're talking about exes, here's what Jennifer Grey who he was engaged to had to say about him :

she recently claimed he was 'crazy jealous' and 'paranoid', adding that he had an 'ill temper' and would get into 'fights at bars' regularly.

Jennifer, who released her memoir Out Of The Corner last week, wrote that Johnny was 'paranoid about what she had been up to while he was gone'.

Her having been violent is completely irrelevant to a libel case about whether or not he was violent. You understand that they can BOTH have been violent, surely?

About him pushing her down the stairs? (allegedly)

Plus Kate Moss had addiction problems aswell. I never believed he pushed her.

Johnny Depp has his issues ,he knows this.

Did he ever actually physical hurt Jennifer Grey though? . Plus she still wishes him well .

No, she doesn't say that he ever hurt her, it is a similar story to what Amber is claiming though jealousy, possessiveness etc. Clearly Amber is also volatile so that combination might have resulted in a different outcome to him and Jennifer.

user104658 09-05-2022 02:10 PM

Also if you listen to her account of the first time he was violent (voice recording) it’s pretty clear that she was shocked/surprised by it, although it’s also clear it’s not the first time she’d seen him “messy” with substances.

Which means, there was a good chunk at the beginning of their relationship where things were already complicated, but without violence, and the violence started at some point. That’s how these things often go. And once it’s happened, it’ll usually happen again. The lack of violence in his previous relationships means relatively little, only that things had never gone that far until that first time.

Honestly I think their relationship is one thing (an almighty mess, substance abuse involved, violence on both sides is VERY common in those situations) but this court case..? His behaviour is shocking.

What about Heard physically attacking her ex , was that over jealousy & possessiveness aswell ? . Also what type of person takes a dump in the bed and blames it on the dog.

Most of Depp's ex's have sung his praises , surely they'd all have a similar experience ? . I mean it's likely over the years his mental health issues got worse but still.

Again, I'm not saying Amber Heard is innocent or that she isn't also a volatile person, I've said that over and over. Sure Johnny's exes have said nice things about him but he has been messy and volatile in at least 2 of those relationships (not with them but in their company) The two I'm speaking about are Kate Moss (he was arrested for thrashing a hotel room he was staying with her) and Jennifer Grey (the article I posted above)

I still think some people like to push Depp's buttons, which is a terrible thing to do to someone with mental issues and addiction problems . I don't condone trashing hotel rooms and lashing out in violence, having anger issues is one thing . I still don't think Depp is this horrible 'woman beater' that he's being painted as.

I remember a while ago he was peacefully trying to have a meal with someone/ a girlfriend . And paparazzi would not leave him alone.

He asked them to stop as he's trying to have a meal in peace, but of course they ignored him and kept getting in his face and snapping away. So predictably it ended up in a altercation which I bet the pap guy loved . Similar thing happened with Bjork aswell .

As intrusive as that is, unfortunately it comes with being a celebrity, he certainly isn't the only one to have to deal with the Paparazzi
