my own opinion on Queen Lizzie, not to sound like a cliché now but like the song goes, a gracious queen

and i am liking Charles a lot more recently, and him and Camilla make a beautiful couple too, much more natural fitting together rather than him and Diana, i wish him best of luck on his reign as the new monarch and i am interested and curious what he'll do with his charity, pass it onto William or keep it as king's trust since it is a very important charitable cause which he always deeply cared for too, for development and improvement of vulnerable young people in terms of homelessness, mental health

well spoken again from PM Truss as well

busy times for our own King & Queen too, Willem Alexander having his 3rd tuesday of september prinsjesdag speech tomorrow, good he was still able to find the time to attend this funeral alongside his mom and wife

I keep hoping Charlie gets a bit of skirt on the side going just to give Chlamydia a taste of her own medicine

Hundreds of millions well spent on this 12 day event imo.

Yep

They could have had a nice , tasteful funeral and all that money could have gone to the NHS , the homeless or something worthwhile

WELL DONE BOYS

I'd like to echo all you say there.
Amazing devotion and carried out to perfection.

They did that at Prince Philip's funeral too.

It really hit me too then as now today too.

What a day, I'm just full of admiration on the organising of this what a worthy send off for Her Majesty.
There were odd times of tedious sections but all of this has just been superb in my view.
Just as near perfect as anything could be.

Agree, an incredible job done by all for that to have gone so seamlessly. Thousands of people involved being watched by tens of millions and not a single hitch to the proceedings

Very moving….

Ideally the journey down the Long Walk and the service at Windsor was the best part and many would say all that was needed.
This mornings gathering and service in London was for the World leaders to come together and pay their respects to a much respected and admired Monarch. A simple service at Windsor was not befitting such a a Queen reigned for 70 years.
The pomp and pageantry was faultless and just amazing….it’s all part of our heritage…nobody does it better and that’s why tourists flock to this country of ours.

people always go on about the cost of these things, but it will have given tourism a 20 year boost. They reminded the world that no-one does stuff like this anywhere else in the world
