Because I’m not taking the nodding dog route

We can convict an 11 year old for murder or rape because it’s determined they know right from wrong but when it suits a narrative a 17 year old is labelled a child

They are now 20 years old and still happy to take the cash to fund their addiction

Why didn’t they just block the person?.

The mother wants this to stop to try and get control of the addiction

Strangers go into the woods every day and night in my area and have sex but this allowed to happen.

Culture secretary Lucy Frazer will hold urgent talks with the BBC's director general on Sunday, after a presenter was accused of paying a teenager £35,000 for sexually explicit photos.

In a statement, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport called the allegations "deeply concerning".

The claims, first reported by the Sun, include that the young person's family complained to the BBC back in May.

The BBC must investigate urgently and sensitively, the DCMS said.

"As a public service broadcaster in receipt of public funding, senior officials have stressed to the BBC that the allegations must be investigated urgently and sensitively, with [DCMS] kept informed," the statement read.

Ms Fraser will speak to Tim Davie, head of the BBC, later on Sunday, it added.

I get what you are saying but this is a man who is decades older and in a position of power and paid by you and me through our licence fee ....sorry he needs to go

children can be convicted of murder yes, but they are not incarcerated with adults, they are sent to juvenile detention centres.....because they are children

BBC Wales posted a tweet at around 9pm last night promoting Huw Edwards' appearance on Who Do You Think You Are. Surly if it were him they wouldn't have done that?! Though apparently he was due to be on The One Show last Friday, but wasn't there for some reason or another. Does Huw have a radio show?

I’ve not said he doesn’t need to go and I’ve just got a letter for my license renewal at the end of the month

Marc Dolan on GB news last night said that it is NOT an entertainment presenter or a sports presenter. So that leaves the following (going by BBC iplayer categories) :

News
Music
Politics
Documentary
Factual
Children's TV

my feeling is that the media saying it's a prominent personality on the BBC won't match the reality and most people will say who?

The other thing is that there have been so many scandals over the years at the bbc that its no longer the big story that it might have been

arista 09-07-2023 12:53 PM

More Front Pages tonight

Why the hell is the BBC not suspending this BBC Worker?

bots 09-07-2023 01:15 PM

why did the bbc not immediately inform the police. There is almost certainly criminality in the allegations. It does sound like another cover up
