I follow supertv for most ratings but they do seem to inflate the overnights on occasion and then post exaggerated info when officials are announced. For instance Today they have stated all shows have doubled overnight figures and all added over a million without devices which simply isn’t true.



This is roughly what’s been added without devices according to another account (essentialbbuk) which seems more realistic

I think they're saying it's double overnights and over 2m when all devices are added to the officials but I haven't seen any figures for all devices anywhere?

There were reports of overnights of 950 and 900k for that week which would mean over double would take the officials up to 1.8/1.9 it’s just not true.

Ah okay yeah they are twisting the truth a little bit there then

around 1.5 million is very respectable for an itv 2 show in this era

The average viewership for the show right now is as follows:

Overnights average – 888,000
Officials average – 1,883,000

Not great, hopefully tonight brings it back up

I think producers will feel vindicated that 6 weeks is long enough otherwise ratings would prob continue to fall for a bit. This way hopefully people stay interested as we go into the last two weeks or so

It’s a double eviction so there’ll be at least 3 people up.

If Dylan is also up this could be a huge eviction this Friday plus it’s on itv1.

At this stage I’m not even sure I trust the production team as regards the voting numbers ..

They seem daft and unpredictable enough to manipulate the result just to get good viewing figures for Friday night .. even if it means sacrificing a big character like Trish

Great rating for last night. I think regardless of who goes, the show's likely peaking either way this week with the current tension so may as well just enjoy it when it lasts. You'd struggle to think of a season that didn't slow to a halt in its closing weeks.

Considering how much TV viewing habits of changed, I'd consider this a ratings success. BB 10 was doing 2.5mil averages and that feels like several lifetimes ago.

It should be enough for them to go "Good, more of the same but bigger and better" next season instead of completely ditching the casting practices and going back to those awful C5 years.

Although tbf even with it being ITV1 I'm not sure why you'd tune in if you hadn't been following the series

So their little plan worked - showing that clip of Trish shouting “ Bully , Bully ..” as a treat for the Late Show audience and pretending it was LIVE !!!
