…I mean, and totally disregarding the creators saying that cloning isn’t a part of the storyline because IT’s a CONSPIRACY and they don’t want us to fathom what’s going on…!!!!!….but clones would have been created and not born so they wouldn’t have an umbilical cord so wouldn't have a belly button..goat people were checking if they were human or clone …

….hmmm, so on the screens with the numbers…?…they’re looking at human DNA type stuff and deciding which humans will be ‘feeders’ and go on to the next stage/the next development room as it were and which are ‘rejects’ and will become food to the super being pouch people…

…the screen task/process thing definitely has the vibe of a refining and rejecting that is either binned or passed over to the next stage…and if the creators have said that it is t about cloning then it could be developing pregnancy/humans outside of the womb…

The Severance procedure is basically designed for people to do things they don't want to remember, all of the things Gemma is forced to do are things people wouldn't want to do or remember. At the end of S1 the Egan guy said that soon everyone would have a chip so it seems like they'll be marketing to a wider audience for more than just a desk job. Walk into your dentist appointment? Bam! Severed! Want a tattoo without the pain? Make your innie do it. Etc.. It seems that Gemma's role is just making sure that will work, even if people do it for multiple different things.

Sounds like the plot line to the movie Click.....which funnily enough Burt was also in as the one pushing it on Adam Sandlers character [emoji848]

The tasks that the macro data people do all have names and I think, although i'm not certain, that the names on the doors that gemma passed on her dentist day included some of those task names, so i think the team are training clones, at least, that's my latest speculation :laugh: I think it's also known as the testing floor

Yes and we already know it's being trialed in the real world for I guess what you'd call "VIPs" - people already linked with Lumon - i.e. the woman that Mark's sister met at the "birthing cabins" who had been severed while she had the baby (and potentially for the whole pregnancy or at least the final stages?)
