Ireland's Bambie i do like on the other hand

such a amazing act, like watching a horror film sort of vibe (that is also what we are gonna get from their performance tomorrow btw, like watching a film)

i reckon Bambie and the finnish rockband Lordi would work so nicely together :flutter: also Lordi went a little bit ABBAfied in their most recent album, some disco/rock fusion material

-----------
i ain't homophobic, Olly's act is too much for me that's all and Swiss Nemo well i don't care about they/them pronouns, but that outfit well no matter what gender you look like a ridiculous circus clown and not to mention how awful confusing fusion of genres his song is, operatic and rap :umm2:

-------
that said, i am looking forward to the shows, tomorrow especially for Croatia, Ukraine, Luxembourg, seeing mommy Hera Bjork strut her stuff again for Iceland, but Portugal, Australia and also Azerbaijan going ethnic is also what i am excited for, regarding azerbaijan, for tomorrow i think you should watch their music video of ozunle apar first because the ending of the video is the beginning of the performance in malmo (so they teased)

thursday even better than tomorrow, the semi of death we call this one

Greece, Armenia, Estonia, San Marino, Norway, Netherlands, Austria going all guns blazing with very entertaining entries, i expect this semi to be MEGA GEIL, and there is also Israel which in my opinion is one of the best ballads ever in eurovision history! christina aguilera beautiful vibe

I agree with Olly.
Music, is best used to entertain and please those who like it
No matter the songs or type of music genre it is of either.

Nothing of a fraud in what he and others have said at all.

Eurovision is political in the voting.
However I love seeing and hearing all the acts.

As for the sad and horrific events happening in Gaza now.
That is an issue that people will have their own concerns about, people holding different views depending on the side preferred.
With others hoping to see an end to the suffering on all sides in said conflict.

The cancelling or boycotting of a musical entertainment show so many have worked many months to take part in.
Wouldn't change a single thing of the horrors already committed against Israelis last year.
Or the ongoing still horror going on in Gaza now with even more horrific suffering planned as to a new invasion in the area.

Eurovision on or off or boycotted by any acts wouldn't make a single bit of difference to those horrors continuing.

Exactly !!

Its the same reason I don’t like football/ footballers getting involved with all manner of political issues

do i insult Ireland's Bambie then? No

they are non binary as well tbh, but have no problems against them whatsoever

Nemo i judge on what i see, a ''dude with pink flamingo costume'' with a operatic/rap freakshow song in a generic english sauce

You did used to make fun of Bambie, you haven’t forgotten I know you haven’t. I’m shocked you don’t get a warning, but you know how to play the system so no point in that

those gays only care about having sex, they do not care about the music

Well hopefully you'll be able to route for one of the other 24 acts in the competition.

I agree with you Joey.

And the last time that I checked, Sweden was not in Israel, so the boycott would be harming the wrong country.

uh no

i would never make fun of such a pure class OSCAR NOMINATION WORTHY ACT

shame i only can give 10 points to them, because they easily deserve a 20.0 or a 50.0 or a 100.0 from me

Ireland's all time best eurovision entry :worship: finally lazy RTE start taking notes from TG4 at JESC how to stage a entry and not going for dated entries anymore

Eurovision entrant Olly Alexander ‘ambivalent’ about the Union flag

Olly Alexander, who will represent the United Kingdom at Eurovision, has said he said he
has an “ambivalent” relationship with the Union flag as it can be “divisive” and “nationalistic.”

get this creep in the bin

Indeed yes Mock.

I'm just going to enjoy the show as I always do.
With family and friends watching it with me.

I'm not concerned one bit as to the performers views on things.
They have them and if they are prepared to state their views however controversial, then I'd support them doing so.

I'd rather know what they think, rather than have them sugar coat their thinking on serious issues.

I myself have many concerns as to the direction and bad way England is being taken down by Sunak and co.
I'm not myself that proud of much the UK seems to be heading to stand for at present.
I'm glad I'm of full Scots ancestry on my Father's side and full Irish side on my Mother's.
My view at present would be I'd likely even re-label the UK as DK
The DISUNITED KINGDOM.

I'm looking forward to a night of entertainment on Saturday with Eurovision.
All the acts will have rehearsed and worked desperately hard to be the best they can be on the night.

I'm sure I'll groan as the votes come in because I fear the UK is not looked on very nicely at present still.
However win, do very well, do fairly well or if he's hampered more by the international more negative opinion of the UK so he does badly.
I know from my knowledge of Years and Years, their number one albums and The album Night Call of 2022 by Olly, still under Years and Years although his solo venture, ehich msde number one too.

Plus his performances and his brilliant acting in It's A Sin.
I know the guy will do his very best and no act can do more than that

So good luck to Olly Alexander, good luck to ALL the acts and hopes for as ever, Sweden presents another great Eurovision musical night.

It’s a difficult one ..

I absolutely love the person Olly Alexander and his music ..

I don’t know why they are being so overtly sexual for the Eurovision song contest though

I've always liked the song from first hearing it.

I like Olly though.
I've all his Years and Years releases.
