So maybe the disease explains her slight figure .. or has her dieting contributed to the illness ??

Try researching bicarbonate of soda for any acid reflux / indigestion/ heartburn issues !!

half a teaspoonful of bicarb in a half a glass of water … stir well and then neck it ..

It’s not pleasant but it’s not awful ..

Almost immediate relief plus long lasting and costs pence ..

This method goes back thousands of years

I highly recommend this. I only take 1/4 tsp of BS with about 4 oz of warm water and it drink that just before going to bed. Its stops my night time refrlux dead.

The thing about acid reflux is, up to 40% of people who are told they have acid reflux, actually have hypochlorhydria, which is low stomach acid. The doctor gives evryone with reflux PPI's or Recepter blockers and tells them to tak antacids. This will inevitably make a person with low hydrochloric acid become quite ill because they can't digest proteins.

This is the exact risk of self-prescribing sodium bicarbonate though. People end up over-neutralising their stomach acid.

It’s not meant to be taken just before / during / just after a meal though for obvious reasons

Sodium bicarbonate can alter the way your body absorbs some drugs.

Even a tiny amount … not just before / during / just after a meal ?

Baking soda is an alkaline substance that can neutralize excess stomach acid.

In SMALL amounts, it provides temporary relief from indigestion and works in a similar way to over-the-counter (OTC) indigestion remedies.

Not sure, but it's worth checking to make sure you're not taking medication that's affected.

baking soda should only be taken in small doses very infrequently otherwise it has a bad effect on some vital organs

Vanessa 02-03-2024 10:56 PM

I have to take sodium bicarbonate because of my kidney issues.
It's prescribed.

It was used to combat indigestion/heartburn back in the wartime days

…We get statements from the palace so rarely for any reason…but for them to have issued another in terms of Kate….feels as though it indicates their frustration or irritation with all of the conspiracies and speculation….i mean, it’s not that, that isn’t bound to happen in today’s social media world but they’ve given another statement….

Ammi 03-03-2024 07:11 AM

…I think for me and my thoughts, so far as anything Lady Victoria Harvey has said…?…if she’s close and trusted enough in the Royal circle to have that information then she would be close enough to be trusted not to express it publicly …as Kate has made it plain that there are some parts of her life that are private….so is Lady Victoria speculating like everyone else or has she just betrayed the trust of the Royal family….hmmmmmm….seriously, how could she possibly know if Crohn’s disease was or wasn’t the medical issue….she’s just throwing something out there….

Yes, she was.

Livia 03-03-2024 11:39 AM

When Katherine went into hospital it was made clear she wouldn't be out in public until after Easter. That's four weeks away. I don't really understand the speculation.
