horrible and poor Cheryl had to tell him today too

My understanding from One Direction days were that Liam and Niall were the least problematic. and other 3 were divas and caused a lot of trouble.

I feel bad for the guy he clearly had no grasp on his life at all and it completely got away from him, and of course others were drawn into that chaos with him.

Yeah especially when your fame peaked ten years ago. On the one hand you'll never be as successful as you were then but you're also still famous enough that you'll never lead a 'normal' life either

inside his hotel room :skull:

Beyond subsistence (a good home you like to be in, being warm and fed) and preferably having the resources to not have to live with too much stress to achieve that, all that actually matters is meaningful human connection with others, and some sense of purposeful existence (or failing that, being comfortable with one non-purposeful ideology or other).

If you don't have those two things, the rest of it is wallpaper. And that can be wallpaper on a crumbling building.

Yes I heard it was a possible suicide or maybe a drunken drugged-up stumble. We'll never know unless he left a suicide note.

He didn't want to be here regardless of which one it is and that's terribly sad.

Clobazam was found in his hotel room.

UserSince2005 17-10-2024 03:58 PM

youd think he could afford a hotel room with a nicer TV

I find your comments on this thread in very poor taste

Why don't you shut your big flapper if you don't have anything nice to say

Some people are very callous in this thread.

Clobazam was found in his hotel room. One of the strongest benzodiazapemes.

Have you seen a video I think he posted on TikTok )cpuld have been another social media)? In it he looks very happy and is chatting to his girlfriend (who's in the background). Both were joking about staying in bed till midday.

This apparently recorded a few days ago.

You really think he was 'happy' in that video because I don't.

You can see it in his eyes.

Substance abuse which he has openly admitted previously and been in rehab for, can come and go in waves.... And one of those waves can be too big to survive.

He may appear somewhat calm and happy to you, but then half an hour later when he has done drugs/alcohol he can be a different person completely.

Yeah his own music is good, he was also GREAT as a coach on The Voice USA

I don't know the man, so I wouldn't really know. Just speculating. I don't take drugs. I don't even drink booze, so perhaps I thought he was slightly jet-lagged. I don't know.

Well he didn't look drunk or drugged-up, or unhappy. To my eyes.

Aggression points to alcohol more often than not. He might not have been but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was drinking heavily that night. Alcohol’s a drug a lot of people love to give a hypocritical free pass because it’s so deeply ingrained in the social culture but it’s one of the most destructive and easiest to abuse. It’s involved in many, many suicides. No-one takes an overdose of weed or mushrooms and goes on to commit suicide. It’s always alcohol that’s involved, with or without benzos and/or some other drugs.

Alcohol’s just one of the worst drugs in the world, period. Its highs are unproductive and it brings out the worst and most aggressive in so many people. One’s high as a kite themselves if they think the same can be said for magic mushrooms. It just can’t, whether that suits one’s hypocritical ‘pro-alcohol, anti other drugs’ agenda or not. We normalise binge-drinking far too much in this part of the world. But that’s another issue altogether.

It’s just something I thought strange about that picture. I saw it yesterday and thought it must be fake.

On so Much drugs
he may not have known
climbing out of that window
would kill him.

Tragic.

Alcohol and coke are a lethal combination too....

Yes Arista. I'm inclined to believe it wasn't deliberate.
