He was so clearly joking and she's too young and stupid to know. She cried ffs... If they're the hurtiest words she ever hears I hope she never joins TiBB.

Something doesn’t add up .. if she is supposedly the Queen of the internet with a gazillion followers then she will have been called far , far worse and probably about a few thousand times each flamin day !

It smacks of tactics to get the others and the voting public on HER side

She is obviously very streetwise and clearly knows how these programs work

You seem to have a hard time believing she has many followers. Perhaps a little google search for you to clarify that.

Oh, please. The mental gymnastics just to support a horrible old man's right to bully a young woman for being gay is so cringeworthy to watch. To try and use the fact he is American as some kind of excuse is laughable. He knew exactly what he was saying.

Not tolerating homophobic slurs is not "self indulgent crap" but letting us know where you stand on the matter.

Quite frankly, you being called names your entire life is irrelevant on the matter. If you were a housemate in Big Brother who had just had the rules explained to you and you were then hours later being called a fa**ot then maybe that argument would have a leg to stand on, but it doesn't.

Yes... so he used the word "fag" and then pointed at JoJo. Maybe this requires a modicum of common sense to understand that he was using that word to refer to her. Let us know if you need any more help for this to be explained to you.

I couldn’t care less about her

I didn’t care for her when she entered the BB house

What makes me laugh, he apologised and she accepted his apology. Then she hits him with the killer nomination saying it would be better if he went. Oh please! Don't let us be left with you and the rest of the vanilla dullards.

But it’s ok! It was a joke!

This is the climate on TiBB now. The Right wing hate gay people and people who stick up for minorities. They will excuse anything and any behaviour if it pisses off people that they deem woke.

It’s pathetic.

Nail on the head :clap2:

She thinks the most interesting thing about her is that she's a lesbian and was actually inviting questions. Don't most people know gay and lesbian people in the real world? Because those I know, being gay doesn't define them, it's just one facet of multi-faceted people.

I swear some people will bend over backwards to excuse homophobia. His behaviour was completely out of line and there's no excuse that works. It's not the same as a light hearted joke at all.

For a 21 year old young woman to go into the house and just hours later be called the most extreme homophobic slur, she had every right to be upset and she actually handled the situation a lot better than the washed up bully who tried to humiliate her.

Yes,
He was testing his future Warning.

I do not think it is such a big deal

Closed for cleaning, deleting some posts in here, lets not turn this into another trans row thread when it doesn't have anything to do with the thread topic

Seems like it's ok to absolutely hammer Mickey for being old on TIBB.

Why we all bother I will never know:shrug:

Incorrect. It’s because he’s homophobic

There are 4 OAPs in the House but only 1 who's broken BB's rules.

…Mickey’s reaction to the official warning in itself in that moment in the diary room was quite telling in that he understood immediately why he was being given the warning and even said it was understandable…there was no surprise at how something was interpreted or questioning of it at all…boy did wrong and he knew he did and accepted it…

Shaun 10-04-2025 12:01 PM

I could've understood the "you won't be straight when you leave" line could have been meant as a weird, flirty (again inappropriate given the age difference) joke but to then go on about how he wants to evict her, tie her up, and then make the 'fag' quip was really just doubling down on the means to offend.

Crimson Dynamo 10-04-2025 12:01 PM

In the Daily Mail article about Mickey and his misconstrued comments the best rated comment is:

"I LOVE Mickey. He is hilarious, and honestly the best CBB participant I've ever watched.
The minute he leaves, is the minute most of the viewers will leave, because we have more
exciting things to do than watch boring, woke cry-babies."

So looks like the great British Public are liking what they see, sadly they don't tend to vote as much

It’s nothing to do with his age. It’s to do with his offensive remarks.

The great British public don’t read the Daily Mail. But nice try saying they do. ;)

Glenn. 10-04-2025 12:10 PM

No one great reads the daily fail

The fact you think that the right wing Karen's on the Daily Mail comments are representative of the British public :joker: Bless you, so naive. That echo chamber must be loud.
