Sorry to hear about the assignment, Becca - I always seem to get essays and coursework at exactly the wrong times!

On the fainting, I'm fine now, thanks! Just a few annoying, grazes after I fell out of the door onto the pavement, like an utter twonk!

Everybody was watching a video, and heard a huge crash, and so they all came rushing round which made me feel even more silly, lol! :blush2:

Oh, no! Thursday morning is on its way round!

I can sense a lot of: "Helga has lost her Bratwurst. Where does she believe she may have left it?"

I can't believe that there is actually a name in German given especially to sausage stalls: Wurstbuden! They're mad on sausages!!:hugesmile:

BigSister 11-05-2006 05:53 PM

thanks Lance and Davey. the first question was good because i understood the play was a bit worried what question i would get but it was good. The poetry was a bit hard though and most people have done the other poem than me. Oh well

Pipergun 11-05-2006 05:54 PM

You still do poems in Uni? Ah, nuts! :nono:

We're stuck with "Culture and Tradition" poems and "Heaney, Clarke and 2 pre-1914" poems at the moment! :bored:

BB-Rocks 11-05-2006 05:56 PM

We didn't really do poems we only did about 3. We done alot of shakespeare!! i hated it

Pipergun 11-05-2006 05:57 PM

One of our coursework pieces was on Shakespeare's "Othello". We also did "Twelfth Night", also by Shakespeare for Y9 Sats.

BigSister 11-05-2006 06:00 PM

<3 for poetry.

We've got 8 poets on our course though, 6 poems on each. 4 come up in the exam and you do one.

BB-Rocks 12-05-2006 09:40 AM

The 1st exam is always the worst Ashley. It was my first exam on the 2nd May and i was crapping myself the night before. I had done all my revision but i thought i never knew it and tried to go over it all again. You think you don't it but it comes back to you in the exam!

babybay 12-05-2006 02:53 PM

I think i did ok though x

Dan_ 12-05-2006 07:17 PM

At least that's the first one out of the way with, good luck with the rest.

Z 12-05-2006 10:38 PM

Uchhh, I had my English Critical Essay today, which meant I had to learn quotes to put in the essay. I revised Romeo and Juliet "I fear too early for my mind misgives Some consequence yet hanging in the stars Shall bitterly begin his fearful date." and Seamus Heaney.

I had a brainfart in maths, 2 midlife cris- (is it crises, to describe the plural? Oh dear.. failed English..) though I was brilliant in German (30 minute exam, did it in 10. I was SO bored.)

BB-Rocks 12-05-2006 10:43 PM

When i finish an exam early, i sit and write on the desk. Well i did when i had yor exams, now because these are the bgis 1s i can walk out:spin:
