That sites really good for whenever a fee is ''undisclosed''

BBfanUSA 21-01-2014 10:27 PM

The Independent is saying that United wants Mata for 40 Million

MTVN 21-01-2014 10:46 PM

I don't get Anzhi at all, why have they just pulled the plug on all those massive ambitions they had

King Gizzard 21-01-2014 10:48 PM

Their owner was involved in some crude oil thing and his stocks dramatically dropped or something and he got scared

there was a good bbc page on it actually, it might still be on there

King Gizzard 21-01-2014 10:49 PM

they've gotten rid of all the players just about I think, and are rooted to the bottom of the table

Greedy bastard Jucilei didn't come back. :"(

Brother Leon 21-01-2014 10:53 PM

These sudden "leaks" are all too weird to me right now.

King Gizzard 21-01-2014 10:56 PM

Did Jucilei go to Al Gharafa or some **** ?

Bet they're all feeling a lot more pessimistic now than when this was written as well lol

And even with a budget of £32-£45m, they can certainly compete for the Russian league's European places

Balague always talk so much crap

bbfan1991 22-01-2014 11:47 AM

Rubbish story saying that Atletico Madrid have given United first refusal on Filipe Luis and Diego Costa, two of their best players if United don't sign Juan Mata because Atletico want him too.

Why would AM get rid of two of their best players just to sign another player when they're flying high in La Liga? Oh the press:joker:.

I know that they would probably struggle to cough up what Chelsea would want though.

King Gizzard 22-01-2014 01:01 PM

No Mata at Chelsea training ;-)

Brother Leon 22-01-2014 01:19 PM

20m offer for Tony Hibbert made as United withdraw Mata interest.

Chelsea fans must be livid right now, This has been a cracking window, in my opinion

Jesus. 22-01-2014 01:47 PM

Mata would be an excellent signing. Always wanted him when Rafa was here. Not sure where he fits in to a Moyes 442 though, especially when he's spectacularly failed to get anything out of Kagawa.

I'm sure they're really down in the dumps after watching Willian start to tear the league to pieces, and remain a point or 2 off the top of the league, having failed to get anywhere near challenging for the last 3 years. I'm sure they're burning their club-issued plastic flags as I type.

King Gizzard 22-01-2014 01:49 PM

Assume Moyes wants to change the way United play a bit I guess, Mata is too slow to play on the left wing...especially with RVP or Rooney probably leaving in the summer

Think he just wants a marquee signing to gee up the fans too

Jesus. 22-01-2014 02:05 PM

Kagawa has genuine pace, and plays in the same position as Mata. He hasn't played him at all, really.

Agree it's more about the signing, but he already has the players to play a different way but currently chooses not to. I don't think he begins to fix the problems in that team. I think they'll get top 4, and I thought they would even without Mata. They'll grind enough teams down to keep winning 4/5/6 games on the trot.

It has always bugged me when United have played Kagawa on the wing, he isn't a winger and never will be. He prefers the CAM role, but when you have Rooney who wants to play there too and we know who the better player of the two is.

When Kagawa has had a chance to play in his best role, he has shown glimpses of the talent and potential he shown at Borussia Dortmund.

bbfan1991 22-01-2014 02:22 PM

Even if United do sign Juan Mata, a CM would still be needed. I reckon there will be some spending in the Summer anyway, there has to!

BBC just about to carry the story United have moved for Mata. They don't deal in speculation

bbfan1991 22-01-2014 03:04 PM

^ Yeah and some Journalist tweeted that Juan Mata has told his family and friends that he is United bound, not sure where their source for that is from?

£35 million offer tabled apparently.

Brother Leon 22-01-2014 03:13 PM

-Still isn't happening-

True ha ha, best to be open minded to prepare yourself for any disappointment.

Wilfried Zaha is joining Cardiff City on loan from United!

bbfan1991 22-01-2014 03:36 PM

SSN reporting that United have made a £40 million bid through a ''third party''. WTF? But whatever, it seems that something is going on.

Brother Leon 22-01-2014 03:38 PM

It's those pretend lawyers again that trolled Herrera :joker:

Jemal 22-01-2014 03:38 PM

Mata is having a medical before the weekend.
Real madrid going to offer 25m for rooney in the summer
Draxler close to arsenal move

Brother Leon 22-01-2014 03:42 PM

Mata and Gundo have the same reps. I swear if this Mata stuff happens then the next step must be obvious to Moyes and Woody. Hell, get Sir Alex out to Germany if need be

bbfan1991 22-01-2014 03:51 PM

Probably Nike or Chevrolet.

That would be funny!

I can't see Rooney wanting to play abroad still and he wouldn't be the main man at RM, which is what he craves.

Could a Kagawa plus cash deal for Gundogan work? If Real Madrid are still interested he wouldn't come to United though.

Jemal 22-01-2014 04:39 PM

What boots does mata wear?
Nike or adidas?

Jemal 22-01-2014 05:01 PM

Why im asking is because this may be a similar saga to the ronaldo transfer.
The only way man utd could of got ronaldo was by a third party that sponsor both ronaldo and man utd. Which is what is happening here, the third party is Definately a sponsor of both mata and utd.

Drew. 22-01-2014 05:44 PM

Guillem Balague ‏@GuillemBalague 1m
All agreed. Juan Mata will be a Manchester United player. 45 million euros. All will be announced very soon

Drew. 22-01-2014 05:45 PM

For Mata's sake i hope he's successful at Utd, Great guy.

King Gizzard 22-01-2014 05:46 PM

It's a necessary overspend

Drew. 22-01-2014 05:49 PM

Chelsea have got a great deal from all of this.. Well Mourinho has.

King Gizzard 22-01-2014 05:50 PM

they've actually made a profit this window, De Bruyne 16m mata 37m and paid 21 for Matic
