You also went into the other chat thread the other night with a baiting comment and then bumped that old chat thread last night.

Anyway moving on, this thread or the Nailsworth Natter thread is enough right now so just post in either of them.

Kate you used to be against the chat threads being named by the members that post in them IIRC?

And anyway it's not a big deal but if people have a problem with it then we will name the threads from now on.

Fair enough, it did come across as been pretty cliquey though IMO and there is no way all that garbage is starting back up again.

I think though, that we just have two chat threads and one stays the same as a tradition type thing and the other is renamed every now and then..and that seems like the best of both and kind of fits with everyone/compromise or whatever...otherwise I think we all do say things like..can we name our chat thread etc and without realising it, it does kind of give an impression of ‘clique’ or maybe some members not feeling welcome or comfortable posting..I actually had a conversation with someone about this the other day and as much as I think that we’re all fairly friendly people and a friendly forum, we do have to be careful not to make people feel excluded without realising it....because that’s exactly how that person felt, which is quite sad...

..anyway, I’m not going to say any more on the chat thread thing..

I agree with josy - It will get annoying with masses of chat threads and groups will form (they already have tho but in a tiny minority :laugh:)

Yes fair comment Josy - just meant that that's what I thought the guys reason for wanting the other thread was, so that they could make it. I like the Lounge and will happily continue to post in it. :)

Not sure, but it was allowed as an accompanying chat thread to the others that existed at the time which made 3 or 4 chat threads at that time.

But it's quality not quantity that TIBB lacks.
