Sugar hired both of them because they were both crap.

i feel like they filmed both endings but edited in "I'm going to start a business with the both of you" when they had left and make it look like he said it when they are both there, surely they haven't known both of them won

That's what i said as well :laugh2: , but when 2 candidates are good he only gives 1 a chance :facepalm: . I know previous candidates who lost may have been given a job by sugar at a later date but that's besides the point. I don't understand why he invested in 2 boring weak candidates .

I think the idea that them both winning was filmed later is plausible
Just rewatching it there when they hugged it look like as if Sarah had won, and when Sugar said "Ill be seeing both of you later" both was clearly added in later
And neither of them seemed to be reacting to a massive "WTF!" Type moment

There wasn't the slightest pretense this year that any of the candidates were serious contenders for an investment. It was about creating false drama an entertainment. It's been pretty grim in previous years, but no investor would have touched any of this years mob with a barge pole
