Same lol

But when you say it in this kind of way " It finished at 11 35pm and was only 200k down on launch" it makes it sound OK.

But still 700k in the context of this series is Ok lol

Big struggle tomorrow as the first 15 mins clash with The Last 15 mins of Bodyguard which I predict will be around 10 million.

So erm... 550k?

iRyan 22-09-2018 03:27 PM

Doesn’t it matter more how it’s performing in its target demographic than its total number of viewers? I’m not sure if UK ratings work differently but in the US, having a high rating in your key demographic is what makes advertisers pay up and keeps a show running. Overall numbers don’t matter as much.

Quite good for BB to hold up the high end of what it’s got all week for such a late Friday show, surprised the circle managed to add 100k on a Friday night too

The Circle is creeping up towards BB mind.

Still I didn't expect BB to get 700k thought it would drop to around 600k.

Yeah, the key demo of 16-34’s is still most important in the UK too. Endemol said that BB had the highest percentage of 16-34 viewers last week, more so than even Bake Off and X Factor.

15 minutes of a 90 minute show shouldn’t bring the average down that much, and I assume most - like me - will just rewind those 15 minutes anyway so they’ll still be counted as VOSDAL

Is it this Monday we'll get officials or the week after?

On Monday we’ll get officials for the CBB final, the BBUK launch and the first Sunday episode, then next Monday we’ll get the first full week. That will hopefully be when on demand viewers are counted, if not this week

I'm looking forward to tomorrow even though it's only 3 officials, but it will give an indication of the amount of viewers will be watching for the rest of the series, I'm going to say this:

CBB Final- 2.11m

BB launch- 1.33m
1st HL show- 1.21m

Is My5 added on yet though? I’d have thought we’d get higher officlals if that’s being put in too? I’d love to see it be beating BB18 officially because some of those officials were terrible

My5 isn’t counted yet... but they did say it would get counted in September

Huge for the Palin doc.

Guess that pretty much gives C5 the "YAY" they wanted in cancelling BB. Not good, is it? It's the highest C5 rating of the year.

It's a one-off show though, whereas Big Brother brings consistently good ratings (for C5 standard) every day for 8 weeks.

It's kinda like how Eurovision brings amazing ratings for the BBC, but it's only 3 shows every year. So it wouldn't be a consistent source of revenue in terms of adverts because of that

supertv247 23-09-2018 08:25 PM

Here’s the first full week of overnights from Broadcast, from launch until now (you can update OP)

.

JoshBB 23-09-2018 08:33 PM

It's weird, because as a share it doesn't look so bad, but nominally.. :skull:

The share is good, just goes to show that it’s a ridiculous time slot being on late because hardly anyone is watching tv.

Wednesday is officially the lowest overnight of all time, outside of Caroline’s eviction which faced the Olympic’s 26 million in 2012

Actually it's not

The Last hl show of BB13 faces the closing ceremony and was under 500k

Rob! 23-09-2018 08:57 PM

Those ratings are ****ing terrible

Oaker 23-09-2018 09:00 PM

So I'm guessing there's going to be some below 1 million officials this series?

Lets not have an orgasm over 800k I mean its still only 800k and even if the new system boosts it to 1 million its still **** for Big Brother.

Couldn’t remember which came first that series, but same thing. They clashed with the Olympics and therefore are excluded either way lol

*mazedsalv** 24-09-2018 09:34 AM

Not good for BB but as expected with the clash and late finish.
622k with +1.

14/9/18- 906k (6.0%)
16/9/18- 755k (6.9%)
17/9/18- 697k (5.7%)
18/9/18- 789k (6.4%)
19/9/18- 664k (5.4%)
20/9/18- 776k (6.4%)
21/9/18- 710k (6.3%)
23/9/18- 622k (5.2%)

These are all the ratings so far.

Last night damaged it as I said by clashing with Bodyguard which got almost 11m in those 15 mins. And then obviously the 11 30pm finish.

Tonight will be around the 700s as I think that's where it's settling.

Officials today.

supertv247 24-09-2018 09:36 AM

622k and 5.2% Inc +1. A new low. Welp

Thought worse tbh

Tonight...710k I'll say

pontyboi 24-09-2018 10:51 AM

What did The Circle get seeing as it was on at the same time would be good to compare.

Will. 24-09-2018 10:51 AM

Welp that’s low, I’m not watching this series even though I know it’s good.

I just cba watching TV in general atm.

supertv247 24-09-2018 12:13 PM

The first officlas are in for the first two episodes - in brackets is how much each episode added

Launch - 1.25m (+345k)
Sunday - 1.24m (+485k)

This is the best *ever* viewer retention for the first highlights show, and 485k is higher than ANY consolidation from last year. 1.25m doesn’t look good but that is the same as last year’s overall average, which is impressive considering the overnight average is down nearly 200k

.

Oh wow, does that include my5? If not this series might actually get half decent ratings when they are added

Urgh so nice to see 1m numbers attached to the show again. Wow that retention is incredible and shows just how well the cast has gone down with viewers. It shouldn’t stray too far from those numbers considering the overnights either

Not yet - hopefully by next week they will count My5, I’ve heard from good source that the demand has been higher than ever for this series! 🤞🏼

Will they be added on to the first officials or are we going to end up with a week where the HL’s are like 200k above the launch?
