I just watched the Joanne era MVs. Such a gorgeous era :flutter: I love how she produced two such iconic looks in the PI and MR videos, and JW is such fun. Then Joanne was such a gift to the fans and a beautiful way to end the era :love: it really tied it all together.

Such a good album and so many good moments! SB51 and the documentary were amazing and so many other little treats <3

There’s a guy on ATRL who posted about numerous artists releases in advance of their official announcements and he said Gaga would be releasing around April/May, I think with Taylor releasing this week, they’ll give her a couple of weeks for the hype to die down and then drop the single

I hear u it’s just I don’t think she’d drop a single in the fortnight or so before she returns to Vegas. So if Mr S is right, it should be coming in the next week or so.

Eh, there’s no reason not too, tv promo is less effective now than it ever was when it comes to singles, the best thing she can do is be present online and her team need to snatch good positions on Spotify playlists

a strategic career move? i really don't think so, the genre was never gonna be commercially as successful as her last efforts, but I think she just genuinely wanted to do the whole stripped back thing.

I do really like Joanne, but I do find there's a certain x-factor missing that her other albums have. My other criticism is that the album is overwhelmingly low-tempo/sad from tracks 7 to the end.
