And the Myth is perpetuated......

There is civilisation beyond Watford Gap you know LEE !!!!lol

But please feel free to supply us. It will be easier that any other supplier I am sure .

:shocked::laugh::shocked::laugh::shocked::laugh:

peachy 15-12-2003 08:09 PM

I've bought Oreo's from my local Sainsbury's several times, and guess what, I live in Staffs!!

However, I'm not allowed to eat them now, I'm on a diet and Boris is keeping me on the straight and narrow. I've lost 3 and a half stones so far. so no more Oreo's for me:bawling:

Sticks 15-12-2003 08:46 PM

Looks like, when I can I will have to make tracks to the only Sainsbury I know of up here in the Hinterlands, that in Washington Tyne & Wear

Does Sainsbury's do online shopping ?:conf:

Sticks 15-12-2003 08:49 PM

BTW I got a new cafetiere for single cups as my current one broke at the knob where you pull the plunger up.

See attached.

I also bought some Irish Cream coffee so I could see what Irish coffee is supposed to taste like, being a teetotaler.

BusyBee 16-12-2003 06:08 PM

Talking about Irish Cream has anyone tried Baileys Glider. Goes down a realy treat and you can drink more of it than the real thing. Or at least I can!!!!

Boris 16-12-2003 07:06 PM

Sorry sticks ....BUT I just have to respond to that bit of information !!!!

It is not nice if you have trouble with your 'plunger'......

SORRY, but I just had to !LOL LOL LOL :laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

Sticks 16-12-2003 09:49 PM

Being a total innocent I had no idea I had committed the faux pas of a double entendre :blush:

It makes one paranoid at how one can be misconstrued

I found another coffee maker that I would love to get. Then I could make hot steaming frothy cappuchinos all by my self.

BusyBee 16-12-2003 10:34 PM

Sticks you are getting to be a bit obsessed about this coffee thing. I am getting quite worried. Have these Hells Angels been turning your head.

Boris 17-12-2003 09:22 PM

Poor Sticks we are ALL 'getting at him'. We mustn't frighten him off . Customers are pretty thin on the ground around here. A girl has to make a living you know....However, I can do without hte hells angels !

BigSister 18-12-2003 11:18 AM

Morning all:thumbs:
Just popped in to chek everything is ok
Will pop in later tonight:hugesmile:

BusyBee 18-12-2003 06:04 PM

Hope you are keeping my favourite stool free for me tonight - I'll be calling in for a large one after doing late night shopping at Asda 'helped' by OH tonight.

After that I will definitely be in need of some R and R. Any entertainment tonight Boris?

Boris 18-12-2003 08:18 PM

I'll sing for yu if you like Busy Bee.

Hmmm, that might might put the other punters off. I don't know though. I might be able to get a certain young Irish gentleman to accompany me . That might please a few Young and old.... ...what do you think. This was our last duet a few weeks ago.........

BusyBee 18-12-2003 10:22 PM

Boris how on earth did you find that picture of me:blush::blush:

Oh how I need this drink tonight. I have spent over an 1 hour listening to OH tell me that we didnt really need 'that' and then for me to turn round and find he's filled the trolley with 'things we just cant do without'. (Or things he cant do without)

Oh I feel frazzled. I hope Paul was more helpful when he went shopping with Helen.

BTW are we having a Pop Idol Final party on Saturday. Any excuse for a party is what I say.:elephant::elephant::elephant::elephant:

steve_o 18-12-2003 10:49 PM

Any chance of a pint of Stella, it's been a bit quiet around here lately, I've not been in for a while and now theres a new pub in TIBB. I could just go a few pints right now. http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/guin.gif

Sticks 18-12-2003 11:05 PM

I got to attend a cappuchino master class tonight :hello:

It always helps to brush up on ones skills ?

Irish Coffee anyone ?:spin2:

BusyBee 19-12-2003 12:59 PM

A double Irish Coffee please Sticks - that would go down well I must say.

BigSister 19-12-2003 01:09 PM

I agree to having a PI party Busy Bee:hugesmile:
A question: Is there a break during the voting because it doesnt look like it in the tv magazines

Boris 19-12-2003 08:55 PM

How about an 'end of term' party ?

I am just about 'Christmased' out after the past 2 weeks in an Infant School. It is the oddest thing in the world to pack it all away before it has even been celebrated at home!

I need a large drink amd a quiet sit tnight.

Lets party tomorrow night..................YES?

Romantic Old Bird 19-12-2003 10:40 PM

OK, I am here, where's the party???:conf:

I was looking forward to some:dazzler: and some :elephant: along with some  and a bit of :spin2:, possibly some  but hopefully not leading to  or even

It looks as if I am going to have to make do with

I'm here too, and raring to go, so come on everyone.

I love the odd glass of red wine but after having tried a few glasses of Guinness in Ireland, I can vouch for it tasting absolutely fantastic over there.

BusyBee 20-12-2003 08:49 PM

I'm here Boris. Just dropped in after voting for Mark ******* times.

BusyBee 22-12-2003 12:14 PM

Bit of a wake as far as I was concerned on Saturday.

Just to let you know I shall be absent this evening - firm's do so shall be feasting and drinking elsewhere.

The company wont be so good though!!!!

See you tomorrow.

Boris 22-12-2003 01:02 PM

How many days left 'till Christmas?????????????????

:sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep:: sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep:

Think I shall sleep right through it all.

No visitors here this year , but after OH 's behviour last year it is hardly surprising. At least various 'brave' mambers of the family have invited us to their gathering and that means I don't have to do any cooking. Silver lining in black cloud I think.

:dazzler::dazzler::dazzler::dazzler::dazzler:

Maybe I will open the bar instead LOL:laugh:

Sticks 22-12-2003 02:47 PM

Since we are announcing holidays here, I need to flag that I will be disappearing on Christmas Eve in the morning back to head office, and for the moment I will be away until the evening on 7th January (A tad too long and I am trying to get time reduced on good behaviour) :bawling:

Boris 22-12-2003 07:08 PM

Good Luck Sticks...we will miss you and so will the coffee drinkers. I am afraid with the staff shortage due to the 'bug' that has been going around we won't be opening the 'coffee shop' on your behalf. We will have the old expresso maker under the bar for those hardened drinkers who can't do without !

:sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep:

Think I must be talking in my sleep.
Out for supper tonight with OH....Hmmmm!

See you all tomorrow have fun.....

Boris 23-12-2003 07:00 PM

not many around tonight...all stuck on the M6 like I was a little while ago. Nasty accident in heavy traffic spoiling some poor souls Christmas.

Any one need serving ????

No...well I will just put my feet up and close my eyes till you call me.

:sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep::sleep:

LEE 23-12-2003 08:03 PM

A glass of your finest Red Wine please Boris. Everything nearly sorted for Christmas - just one thing left to get tomorrow.

BusyBee 23-12-2003 09:22 PM

A large glass of white please Boris. Hair of the dog from last night. Firm's do. Usual people last to leave - well you've got to make the most of these free outings.

Can we have a little less noise tonight please - am feeling a little fragile. A little convivial company would go down well though.

Boris 23-12-2003 10:51 PM

Pull your chairs up to the fire and I'll do a 'lock in'. A nice couple of bottles with a nice couple of friends.

Cheers !:spin2:

Amy 24-12-2003 01:06 PM
