I was married for nearly 35 years till he passed away in Dec 2010.

Now I am learning "sequence dancing", lead steps (male steps). This is a sort of folk dancing if you can walk, you can dance, that type, quite popular even dancers are lot older than ballroom dancers as they are so easy. They keep repeating same steps. But I love it.
As there are so many ladies, not enough gentlemen, so I tend to take male part.

Next sequence is called "Tango Serida". This is a video I found on youtube, some group of people.

If you dance this "Tango Serida" properly, it will be like this, also I found in Youtube. I would love to dance like them.

Did you notice, Ammi? This couple was dancing exactly the same steps with other video, elderly people were dancing.

.. yeah I did notice that Sooty...awww, the lady who was dancing on her own and the gentleman came over and danced with her..:love:...I do think tea dances look fun..I used to do Salsa but they stopped doing it locally which is a shame..have you ever tried that..?...

I have been to Salsa class once with my friend some years ago, but I preferred ballroom (Latin - rumba, cha cha, jive, samba) My friend still goes to the class though.

..yeah professional dancers are just so magical to watch Sooty..I would love to try ballroom dancing but there just isn't anything locally..:sad:...but Salsa is really fun, I might look to see if I can find another class to go to..it's great exercise as well and I don't think I do enough...
