Yesterday I was with my friend Yko in Wembley area.
When we past Wembley Stadium, there was an open stage, and live show, an Indian singer was on stage, catchy tune.

I was half dancing/walking while listening to his song, Yko shouted "Keep away from me, I am not with you!"

..no. I definitely don't think so. Sooty...Yko sounds very 'proper' and I would say that she finds dancing in the street, or being with someone who moves to the music, a bit embarrassing...I think some people just do...

sooty 03-11-2013 07:50 PM

Quite right, Ammi.:p

wow well done sooty for taking up dancing. I myself i've been wanting for ages to do dancing classes, mostly latin, but I never make time for it. Soon.

Ceecee, Latin, specially rumba music (and movement) is so romantic.
You would love it. And cha cha and jive are fun to dance.

Oh yeah. I can't wait to make time to get into it. Hope the instructor will be a hot latin.

Sooty, don't tell me you've never heard of eminem?

Of course I know his name, Ceecee, but I could not remember (or would not know) what he sang.
I opened one of his videos, singing (rapping) but it was too fast and I did not fully understand what was he rapping.:p

I have never seen his films but he is a good actor?

..yeah, I prefer being at work as well, Sooty..although I do love weekends with my family as well but no one gets so much holiday time as I do, which can seem very long and I much prefer the routine of when I'm working...I'm also very lucky with where I work as well/I love it....

sooty 09-11-2013 06:33 AM

One day my dearest friend, former neighbour, said to me how I was lucky to be able to go out to work (now I am retired) as she was a full time carer (twenty seven) for her husband. (I was a carer for my husband in evenings and weekends only).

I knew exactly what she meant. :(

..yeah, I know Sooty...what a self giving person she is though...it's always such a sad situation because with the person who needs the care and the one caring for them, there are two 'prisoners'...and to be able to have a job/social life/friends etc is so important for a carer...

..your husband was so extremely lucky to have you but I'm sure he knew that.....

..yeah, sometimes it's easy to think that 'words' aren't important/it's 'actions' that are the main thing...but sometimes words really are important, aren't they and especially when that person is unable to give actions and words are all they have ..and we do things because we want to/we choose to but that doesn't mean to say, it doesn't have a huge effect on our lives and can 'wear it down' so a few words can give us so much more energy that we might need at that time....

sooty 10-11-2013 07:22 AM

I think words are very important. I think they work wonder sometimes.
