I hate the Greyjoys, it was always the worst part of the books reading about them especially in AFFCs

Locke. 14-05-2014 09:14 AM

Euron is going to be a huge part in the next book

Or was it Victarion. Can't remember. One of them anyway.

Niamh. 14-05-2014 09:22 AM

Euron is the Crows eye

Locke. 14-05-2014 09:26 AM

Yeah, I just can't remember which one it was that is supposed to be a major part in the next book. I think I'm right saying Euron but

Spoiler:

I read the released chapters from the book and Victarion has arrived at Meereen and had that whole plot in the last book of getting the dragon horn and having a red priest on his side, which is making me think it might have been him.

But yeah, outside of Theon and Asha I found them pretty boring to read about as well

Niamh. 14-05-2014 09:58 AM

Spoiler:

ahhh yeah, I forgot it was Victarion that went off for Euron, it's coming back to me now

Niamh. 15-05-2014 10:16 AM

:hehe:

BBUKAUSFAN 19-05-2014 04:56 AM

just watched latest ep and it was great :D

little finger pushing lysa at the end was most satisfying :D

dannys scene once again midly boring even though i like her as an actor

BBUKAUSFAN 19-05-2014 05:01 AM

D: 2 week wait for the next ep now D:

Smithy 19-05-2014 11:13 AM

really good final scene :D, liked the bit with tyrion/oberyn and brienne/hotpie

rest felt a bit fillery

Can arya's storyline actually start moving now :umm2:

Novo 19-05-2014 11:40 AM

Oberyn is basically Inigo Montoya in GOT form

Ramsay 19-05-2014 02:15 PM

Spoiler:

Marked out like mad for the return of Hot Pie

Novo 19-05-2014 05:15 PM

Hope they start selling those Direwolf shaped pies in Greggs

Tom4784 19-05-2014 06:55 PM

Spoiler:

God, I love Oberyn.

Also Baelish seriously needs to up his game, you don't tell a girl you won't to shag that they could have been your daughter. Creepy bastard

Locke. 19-05-2014 07:11 PM

Really good episode.

Lysa finally getting pushed, horrible bitch. Could have won Robb the war if she didn't withhold the entire Vale army from the right cause. Suppose that Sansa still has the opportunity to use the only untouched army in the entirety of Westeros at a future point now though. Great seeing Hot Pie as well, really didn't expect that. Melisandre and Selyse scene was a bit weird but any scene with a naked Melisandre is worth the screentime. And of course good old Oberyn's amazing speech

Novo 19-05-2014 07:31 PM

don't even remember if that stuff about Shireen was in the book? Not in the parts I read anyway and there was loads of focus on her when they were having the conversation about Stannis wanting to take her with them

Locke. 19-05-2014 07:46 PM

In the books Melisandre is a bit scared/wary of Shireen for some reason that hasn't been revealed yet, I guess it plays into whatever that scene was about

MTVN 19-05-2014 09:42 PM

How pathetic is Stansa throwing a strop over her little snow castle being knocked down, hopefully Robin will send her flying down the moon door soon

King's Landing scenes are easily the best thing about this show imo, the Melisandre/Daenery's parts were both a bit boring

Locke. 19-05-2014 09:58 PM

Sansa >>>> everybody else

That little **** needed throwing out the moon door with his disgusting mother after knocking down Winterfell

Ramsay 19-05-2014 10:04 PM

Sansa has indeed become quite the boss

Oh  I'm so sorry Dezzy, i thought you had read them

I think it would be a very good idea to keep this thread just for discussion of the TV Show because i think there's quite a few people who haven't read the books who come into the thread to discuss the previous episode.
With a show this good people are often deeply invested in the ongoing story and even a single crucial spoiler could completely ruin someone's enjoyment of their favorite show which is never a good thing.

I've been watching the show right from the start without missing an episode and i absolutely LOVE IT!!!!!
I've managed to pretty much avoid all spoilers (apart from a couple of minor details) so far but i do find that i have to be extremely cautious when entering this thread and i completely avoid going anywhere near anything to do with GoT on Google.

Is there any chance that something like "No Book Spoilers" could be added to the thread title ?
I'm pretty sure there's a thread in the book section for discussion of the book Series so nobody would be missing out on anything.
