Mud, with Matthew McC. I really liked his performance on this.

it got 1.5/5 on Rotten Tomatoes and 4/5 on IMDB, that's a massive difference

Dope - 8/10 - A great "coming of age" film about a young guy in the hood who is classed as a geek and ends up falling into the criminal world. Some really good performances from relatively unknown actors (and a couple of rappers). From all the ones I've seen so far I'd have this as #3 of the year behind Ex Machina & Straight Outta Compton.

Back to the future, or should I say back to the past?

Mockingjay Part 1

was okay wunnit 6.5/10

Ammi 25-10-2015 03:22 AM

..Jurassic World...there was nothing not to like really/kick ass dinosaurs but it seemed so similar to the original in storyline...7/10...

Pitch Perfect 2

Was a bit of a mess from start to finish really. Rushed jokes, a lot of physical gags, some forced controversial-banter from Elizabeth Banks and her cohost, and aside from a sentimental campfire moment just wasn't really that enjoyable. Good song choices though, and the Green Bay Packers cameo was fun. 4 or 5/10.

Vanessa 26-10-2015 05:42 AM

Back to the future part three. It's hilarious! :joker:

..yeah that's probably the way to watch it Vanessa, I just watched it on TV and I enjoyed it but it didn't wow me because obviously you don't get the same feel to it.../a cute cast though...

Just watched Captain America: The First Avenger.

I've been trying to make my way through the MCU films and this has been my favourite yet.

Crimson Peak:
8/10

I really enjoyed this. The story was intriguing and it's visually stunning, it has a really strong atmosphere. Jessica Chastain was my favourite part of the film, she was brilliant.

That's my favourite, probably because I love the era it's set in.

X Men The Last Stand - for me it's the best X Men film 10/10

Vanessa 29-10-2015 08:08 AM

Scream 4. So much fun. I love horror movies. 8/10

kirklancaster 29-10-2015 08:34 AM

Just watched Nick Cage in 'Pay The Ghost' - a surprisingly enjoyable horror film given that it's almost impossible now for writers to come up with completely new script ideas.

Babayaro. 29-10-2015 10:23 PM

Just finished watching 'Beasts Of No Nation' and all I can say is wow. Definitely one of the best films I have watched this year. Idris Elba was as good as always but Abraham Attah was just brilliant, especially considering how young he is. 10/10

Shaun 30-10-2015 02:07 AM

Big Hero 6

Didn't think anything could top Wreck It Ralph as the best Disney since 92 but this is probably better than both. Probably just because it centres around a 'loss of an older brother' theme so it just got to me idk. Super funny and exciting too - even if the story is obvious. 10/10.

Vanessa 30-10-2015 04:04 AM

Spectre. It was amazing. I love James Bond. :flutter: 8/10
Twilight, Breaking Dawn part 2. I love this franchise. 8/10

rubymoo 30-10-2015 07:55 AM

Under Siege 2 - really cheesy, but i found it great fun to rewatch, i love the jiu jitsu fight scenes 8/10 (Steven Segal can't act, but as i said - great fun!)

Locke. 30-10-2015 08:08 AM

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. - 7/10

Didn't expect much really but it was a good action/spy film, just feel like it has been overlooked a bit because there have been so many this year (Mission Impossible 5, Kingsman, Spy, etc). But yeah, the two lead actors worked really well together and Alicia Vikander was great as always. A nice mix of action scenes, interesting story and comedy. Shame the ending set it up for a sequel because it's probably not going to get one.

Ammi 02-11-2015 04:22 AM

..The Hundred-Foot Journey...a really delightful and lovely/feel good movie and the cast was perfect...8/10 I think...
