I think Striker is definitely what Arsenal need now, but there will be more available in the Summer and there will be mayhem before and after the World Cup transfer wise.

Drew. 28-01-2014 10:17 PM

Berbatov

it'll happen..

bbfan1991 28-01-2014 10:19 PM

He seems to be more open about returning to Spurs, although some Spurs fans still bear a grudge about how he left for United.

Manchester United the subjects of potential £70m kit deal bidding war http://bit.ly/1nfNM1R #mufc

Interesting. I hope they stick with Nike and I think they will!

King Gizzard 28-01-2014 11:00 PM

Heard United are going with Sondico

Brother Leon 28-01-2014 11:05 PM

Got to be Jacamo.

bbfan1991 28-01-2014 11:05 PM

I just can't imagine United with anyone else other than Nike now.

The old Sharp top with Adidas on was class though!

Purds will be buying it then.

I heard Brother Leon is going to play in the United Midfield for the rest of the season.

Shaun 28-01-2014 11:19 PM

why was Arsenal's deal so big? I mean £150m compared to that figure up there?

Brother Leon 28-01-2014 11:24 PM

Arsenal are getting 30m a year. Nice to see United are getting double and more :).

bbfan1991 28-01-2014 11:52 PM

Juan Mata is gonna tear Stoke City apart:D.

But this is for Jesus in advance of his gloating

No gloating from me on this one. I think it shows what a capable manager Rodgers is. I wasn't that excited about him at the start of his reign, but he's really developed the team in a way that means football is enjoyable. I'm not sure what we're good enough to achieve this year, and united are supposed to have another £150m to spend in the summer (but it's only other clubs that spend this money apparently), added to the £75m they've spent this season, so maybe 5th/6th is the best we can hope for without serious investment, and that won't come with our current owners, who only seem interested in signing sponsors and not players.

I'll take the victory of course, but I actually like what Everton have done this season, and minus the dour-peoples-club-spouting bullsh*t of Moyes, the games between us will be better as well. Besides, because we don't have the squad, we could go to West Brom and stink the place out at the weekend and be back only a point ahead of you.

Were united playing the best team in the world last night? Because beating Cardiff 2-0, doesn't really tally with the press coverage and headlines it's received.

Not sure what value there is comparing different types of players who play in different countries, whereas players who play in the same league and in the same sort of position there is some merit in it at least.

I wasn't saying one is better than the other. I was just dropping it for information, as one player seems to be the greatest young player to ever grace the world, and the other is cleaning his clock when it comes to contribution. Those stats would automatically be different if he'd been passing to RVP for example, but it's definitely a worthy comparison.

Drew. 29-01-2014 06:54 PM

Villa 2-0 down already

Don't get me wrong. I like Sterling and think he'll be a top player in this league. But you only have to watch Adnan play to realise just how good he could become. I think it will be fairer to compare Adnan next season as Sterling was playing last season, but this is Januzaj's debut season with the first team.

Drew. 29-01-2014 07:02 PM

Aguero 1-0.

Drew. 29-01-2014 07:05 PM

jesus christ Lloris.. amazing save

Black Dagger 29-01-2014 07:12 PM

If I met Aguero in the street, I wouldn't be held responsible for my actions.

Drew. 29-01-2014 07:12 PM

Its scary how good City are.. and Jovetic is now back.

Villa have it back at 2-2 now.

Our John will be doing City a massive favour in that game xo.

Crazy match at Villa Park!

I feel dirty for wanting City to win, but it means that Spurs will drop points.
