I would disagree. Some of the best players ever weren't particularly strong in the comp setting. I believe it's all about using all your strengths and weaknesses to your advantage that makes a good player. Jun (BB4) for example or Will (BB2) had no need to win comps and yet still won their respective seasons!

LukeB 22-04-2016 03:10 PM

Nikki winning would just top this season, not playing the game but she's actually doing good. (wouldn't be sad if she came 4th)

And if Jared's in the final 2 with anyone(but Nikki) he is getting my vote because he deserves the win more because others were too scared to get rid of him so they don't deserve it and it makes his game great.

Calderyon 22-04-2016 04:54 PM

Yeah, if Jared gets to the end, he does deserve to win.

Such an huge and obvious target getting all the way to the end would be almost phenomenal to happen.

Sounds good :clap1:

Nick's speech ideas when he's telling them to Phil are always hilariously bad. :joker:

Nikki, Loveita & Sharry had a lovely little bond (Even if it only lasted a week)

Wonder how different this season would have been if Kelsey left and not Paige.

Calderyon 22-04-2016 10:07 PM

Weren´t Phil & Nick one of the major forces on getting Paige out instead of Kelsey?

(I might have had to search this. Is BBCAN3 worth watching? Seasons 1 & 2 seem to be the more popular ones)

Three's a frustrating one. On the one hand I like the fact that on the whole we had a cast that were willing to make big moves for self-preservation rather then the 'what the house wants' agenda that has hurt this season at times, plus we had great characters in Sarah, Brittnee and the criminally underrated Godfrey. But at the same time I felt the production interference (whilst well intended) made the end-game play out somewhat artificially.

Yes! The most likeable cast in BB history internationally imo

LukeB 22-04-2016 11:43 PM

New twist: Get rid of everyone and bring back Sharry/Loveita/Mitch and they get to choose who stays and they choose the only good housemate left Nikki :D if only

Imo 2 > 1 > 3 > 4

3 feels as though it has the best closure though.

Imagine if it was the BBUk fomat with this cast, would Canada let Nikki win?

I'm sure of it! Just look at the voting statistics from crowning the HOH, our Nikki had the overwhelming lead :)

zakman440 23-04-2016 12:08 AM

Nikki's given her blessing to Cassandra to go up as a pawn.

It's also sounding certain that the brothers are going on the block, with Jared set to be the replacement nominee if they win the veto.

Headie 23-04-2016 12:10 AM

Nikki is gonna end up leaving this week, I can feel it </3

LukeB 23-04-2016 12:11 AM

:omgno: I'm really worried for Nikki.

Nah this isn't true, there is far too much emphasis put on comp wins these days in North American Big Brother when it's at its heart a social game.

Dr Will threw pretty much every comp he ever played in, volunteered to be put on the block, told everyone he was a liar and not to be trusted and asked to be voted out and he still won (almost twice). It's testament to someone's social game that they can rely on their powers of manipulation and persuasion to survive alone. Jun and Andy are much the same although the latter did take a few HoH's, perhaps in BBCan Godfrey's the best (and most underrated) example. It's a mean feat and isn't appreciated enough.

Winning comps is just as viable a strategy and there's nothing wrong with it, but relying on social game alone to survive is I'd argue far harder.

Depends how far the xenophobic sentiment some of the cat ladies on Facebook and feedsters on Twitter spreads nationwide I guess, I mean she has been topping popularity polls all season long but idk, I think Joel would just about edge it
