It'll be interesting if we meet Keanu's dad

BBUK-Fan 17-03-2018 10:20 AM

I feel there is a story going on with Ted but it's taking a while

BBUK-Fan 17-03-2018 10:20 AM

The walking on coal with Robbie was funny :)

It's probably stemming from his PTSD thing

Kat is returning to Albert Square after a lengthy break, along with Big Mo, played by Laila Morse.

Jessie, 46, has now declared BBC bosses should bring back more members of the Slater family.

She wants to see Kat's daughter Zoe, played by Michelle Ryan, back in Walford along with sisters Lynne (Elaine Jordan) and Little Mo (Kacey Ainsworth).

The actress told The Mirror: "I’d love Michelle, Kacey and Elaine Lordan, but I’m sure they’re busy doing other stuff.

"We’ve got a new Slater, Hayley, played by Katie Jarvis, who is fantastic.

"We’ve done a few scenes together and she’s a perfect Slater."

Jessie added of the new storylines for the Slaters: "We’re going back to our roots 18 years ago, with the hustle and bustle of the Slaters, supporting each other, arguing with each other, laughing, it’s just great."

It was probably shade considering they never liked each other

I remember an episode when Roxy was hosting a St. Patrick’s Day in the pub :(

Wizard. 17-03-2018 11:43 AM

They never should have disbanded the Slater clan in the first place. I don't know why Eastenders can't keep a family together like Coronation Street can. Pay your staff!

I find it weird because Emmerdale and Corrie have had the same core cast for years now.

EastEnders just can’t keep its actors besides a few.

Cal. 17-03-2018 12:11 PM

Although even though BBC exposed its gender pay gap a lot of the top earners for EE were the great females (Laurie Brett, Letitia Dean, Diane Parish and Lacey Turner were all the highest paid after Danny Dyer, Steve McFadden and Adam Woodyatt) so perhaps they need to build on that and get some more of our greats on a top wage!

Lorraine Stanley is COMING for Chris Evans’ salary.

Cal. 17-03-2018 12:13 PM

I bet Jessie is coming back to a top wage. Queen.

Wasn’t she that girlies mam who slept with Jay?

Rob! 17-03-2018 12:19 PM

Yeah she was Starr's mum. SOC decided it wasn't the right role for the actress

Iconic he gave us Kazza

Cal. 17-03-2018 12:24 PM

Kat, Stacey, Karen, Mel, Jean, Big Mo, Denise, Kim, Sharon, Linda, Honey and Shirley

Strongest female cast in years!

Cal. 17-03-2018 12:24 PM

Sonia, Carmel and Michelle are despicable!

Denver 17-03-2018 12:25 PM

They should recast Zoe tbh the actress said she will never go back but a Zoe and Kat how down would be iconic again

Recast Zoe and bring back Carli as Belinda she was a legend!

Cal. 17-03-2018 12:27 PM

And Kacey said she’d return as Little Mo so why not?

Wizard. 17-03-2018 12:33 PM

I've always said they should recast Zoe. Michelle Ryan ain't nothing special!

Cal. 17-03-2018 12:34 PM

She was an average actress from what I’ve seen of her.

Wizard. 17-03-2018 12:39 PM

Why is this a Sun headline:

'ALBERT HAIR - Michelle Ryan has exactly the same hairstyle as her EastEnders character Zoe Slater 13 years after she quit the soap'

Wizard. 17-03-2018 12:42 PM

She even wants Zoe recast

Quote:

After she quit, many hoped Michelle would return to reprise her role in Walford but she shot down any speculation last year.

Speaking to The Daily Star, Michelle explained: “It's not part of my life any more, I won't be going back.

“I feel it would be the right thing to recast the role.

“There will be some actresses out there that are desperate for that break.”
Which is funny because she won't return to EE but will re-play her character that appeared in Doctor Who, but via an audio series

Quote:

There is a twist however, with Michelle’s character Lady Christina de Souza, making her comeback in a series of audio productions.

When she last appeared on the cult series, Michelle’s character vanished after flying off on a double decker bus.

“Being asked to revisit the role of Lady Christina was a very easy decision. Adventure, a sunny climate and mind-boggling scenarios are included in the scripts, everything I remember of my Doctor Who experience.
