Yeah Gaz isn't as pointless as Rae

The storyline is naff. I still like Theresa but her, Dodger and Will for me are making it actually interesting now. The writers need to get rid of Liberty and Ethan but they won't:(.

Rae will apparently be involved with different characters according to Alice Barlow when she returns. Rae has been absent because Alice has been on holiday in real life:).

So the girl who plays Rae went on holidays for what like 3 months and they still kept her :bored:

Like Texas or Leanne (after Lee goes in her case).

Gaz is more pointless IMO, he's dire.

I don't think the holiday was the whole duration, some characters stay on screen for a while then they disappear for a bit so other characters who haven't been in can feature, taking it in turns;).

I hate them both, but if i HAD to choose, i'd pick Gaz over Rae

but 3 months come on? no one even misses her

Yeah, Doug, Jamil, Leanne are the students that are pointlessly hanging on by a thread.

And have you noticed Finns scenes are all the same. He was say a few lines then go off to get something or walk out the room :joker:

I do, think she could be decent if they actually bothered to develop her character. She was good with Newt and Ste, she has a love/hate friendship with Amy too.

Yeah Rae was good on her 1st stint. I dont think she should have returned after Newts departure, and her whole "trying to be Amy" thing was a big :nono: for me :hmph:

The current student group is rubbish at the moment:shocked:, they hardly study. They will bring some more in at some point but they should probably develop this current group more and maybe bring in the new group next year.

Lmao they should do more with him too, they sideline some characters because the cast is too big:rolleyes:.

Don't get me wrong I do like Texas and i'm liking psycho Leanne, she could be a housemate from hell for the new student group and cause problems:D.

Rae and Amy struck up a bond when Brendan was bothering them over Ste, perhaps they could revisit their friendship.

They just need more Lynsey. But her storylines seem over before they start

Hollyoaks actor Ellis Hollins has so impressed his older co-stars that they are already plotting a dark route for his character to take.

The 11-year-old has been in the show since a very young age in the role of orphaned Tom Cunningham - and since then has had such a troubled life that actor Matt Littler, who plays his half-brother Max, joked that he might become the soap's next big villain.

"As well as being very cute and funny he's also a great actor," Matt told Inside Soap.

"And with everything Tom's been through in his life, I think he could be the next Chester serial killer!"

He added, "Ellis is an integral part of the show, and I want him to stay in Hollyoaks much longer than we ever did."

Co-star Darren Jeffries, who played Max's friend OB, said, "We started working with Ellis when he was four, and now he's growing up.

"It amazes me what a well mannered, well adjusted lad he is. He's better behaved than most of the cast."

I'm so looking forward to Tom's storylines in a couple of years when he's an adult:D. Ellis Hollins is actually one of my favourite all time HO actors and my favourite soap kid actor!

Hollyoaks did tweet me on Twitter saying that we will see more of her soon, so I presume she will feature again at some point.

I suspect she will be involved in Silas' exit because they can't forget that everyone did not believe her when she accused him of attacking her:shocked:.

Karen Hassan is one of their best actresses now and again she should be featuring more than the likes of Liberty, Ethan and Noah..UGH!:joker:

I was thinking that Nancy could discover that Silas is the killer and he tries to kill her in Hollyoaks Later but everyone comes to her in rescue?

Exactly, the writing is so inconsistent:bored:. They have had a big overhaul of the writing team so maybe they have finally recognised that there is problems with it and we'll see major improvements soon.

The management need to listen to the viewers more, it's been ages since the new producer took over but yet he hasn't done an interview about what plans he has:mad:.

Yeah I would include Tom (could be a big character when he's older) and Darren in that. The McQueens too and Nancy.

He was announced as Acting Producer when Paul Marquess suddenly announced his departure (there were rumours Lime Pictures might have axed him but Paul said in an interview he quit hmmm..).

So HO could have initally had Gareth in to steady the ship while trying to find someone else to take over but then just decided to give him the job because he was in the writing team when Paul was producer.

Ste and Warren also. Cheryl.

So how long will it be till Gareths stuff will be shown on screen?

And when do you think Lee/Duncan/Ricky/Jamil will leave?
