AUDITION VENUE: BIRMINGHAM NEC, BIRMINGHAM, B40 1NT

Please make sure you go to the entrance for SOLOISTS. If you require SPECIAL ASSISTANCE you will need to join the Special Assistance queue. A map is overleaf for details of how to get to the location and the entrance you need to use. We’re expecting thousands to turnout and auditions will be given on a first come, first served basis so get there early. Please understand we will be filming the crowds prior to any auditions starting. Due to the number of people auditioning, the process will take all day and can possibly continue into the evening. Please prepare for a long wait.

THIS IS YOUR FIRST STEP TO STARDOM! For your audition, you will need to prepare at least a verse and a chorus of one or more songs, in acappella (i.e. without backing music or instruments). The judge will decide how much you can sing. Remember you need to stand out from the crowd. We want to hear your vocals and see your personality. Rehearse, dress up and give it everything you’ve got! THIS AUDITION COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOREVER!

Should you be successful in your first audition, you will be invited back to the Call back auditions where you must again prepare an acappella song. You are also welcome to bring along a (karaoke) backing track but there is no guarantee that you will be able to use it for your audition.

If you are successful in your first audition you will be asked back for a second audition on the following date:
Sunday 25th April 2010

This date is fixed and will be your only chance to move to the next stage in the competition.

I'm not too bad, spent a few days last week at my dad's, had a lot of the family there so that was nice, doesn't happen often. Glad to be home for a couple of weeks now though in a way, head needs a rest. I'm doing alright though thanks :)
