Johnson at 17 - 18.5m is very over priced, should have been no more than 14m.
|
18 mill is way too much - just for the fact that I dont think full backs shold cost 18 mill - but after a couple of good England games a players value goes through the roof.
|
United and Chelsea now in for Ribery.
And Villa. |

He was best in the second game. But the First? he was one of the worst on the pitch. He kept making mistakes. Best hope he is consistant at liverpool. |
He'd be a good singing for who ever gets him.

According to a report in the British broadsheet The Guardian, Spanish giants Real Madrid have offered the services of nine players to clubs in the Premier League.
Los Blancos have already spent big signing Kaka from Milan and are poised to splash out even more cash on Cristiano Ronaldo, who appears set to complete a record breaking move from Manchester United. The combined total of these transactions will come to more than €165 million. It is thought that Los Merengues are keen to add a striker to their squad, with Valencia's David Villa their preferred choice and Atletico Madrid's Diego Forlan earmarked as a back-up. Meanwhile, the possibility of moving for Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery still remains. However, it is believed that funds are tighter now at the Santiago Bernabeu and a whole host of players will be shipped out in order to raise more money. Argentine duo Gabriel Heinze and Javier Saviola, Mali international midfielder Mahamadou Diarra and the Dutch contingent of Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Arjen Robben, Rafael van der Vaart, Wesley Sneijder and Royston Drenthe have been made available to purchase. It has been reported that Juventus are keen to snap-up Diarra, although those claims have recently been quashed. Meanwhile, The Daily Mirror has linked Tottenham Hotspur with Van Nistelrooy and Sneijder, although The Sun writes that the former's wage demands could scupper any potential deal. Apparently, Los Merengues are hoping to bring in around €100m (£84.5m) from sales. |

What the hell is going on at Real? There are some very good players in that list. I'd want Van Nistelrooy, heinze, Sneider and Robben for Arsenal. |
Huntleaar and Van Der vert would be good in prmeiership.

He was poor against kazakstan, kept hitting it to far infront of him, making little mistakes that made them apply pressure that we didnt need. |

the new revelution of football or somthing. Basically they are going to be replacing half their players with big star. Just like back when they had roberto carlos, luis figo, zidane, raul etc... All the best in the world, though imo they dont always seem to gel very well because they know they are amazing and usually have big ego's |
We need Glen at the back, i am happy if he is the only signing.. The Liverpool team will cause maximum damage to any team.

Fulham have completed the signing of Birmingham City's Stephen Kelly.
Everton have seemingly begun their summer recruitment drive in earnest today, with reports indicating that they a sizeable bid for Sheffield United's Kyle Naughton has been tabled. Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing Stuttgart's Thomas Hitzlsperger Tottenham Hotspur are ready to turn their attentions to Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who could be leaving Real Madrid Dirk Kuyt has hinted that he may return to Feyenoord later in his career Emmanuel Eboue has admitted that leaving Arsenal is a possibility. |

Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing Stuttgart's Thomas Hitzlsperger - Apparently around 5m for him, Wengar looking at experience as he is 28 Tottenham Hotspur are ready to turn their attentions to Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, who could be leaving Real Madrid - he would be a great singing for any 6 - 9 placed team in the prmeiership Emmanuel Eboue has admitted that leaving Arsenal is a possibility - He will go but Sanga is staying thats all we need, the money will help more, even if he is a good player. And i think liverpool may struggle through injury next season if they only sign johnson, they could be selling up to 6 players! |

Cuz Ribery's likely to go to the club that Gareth Barry turned his back on. |
I dont want Tottenham to sign Huntelaar, I want them to crash and burn.
I reckon we would do well with Huntelaar, hes quite young as well so would go with our young team. |

Ribery wants money and champions league football, which is what he will get at cheslea or utd. Aldo Real and barca want him. |
Toure staying put with Barca
Coveted midfielder set to remain at Camp Nou Yaya Toure is about to end several English clubs' hopes of signing him by putting pen to paper on a new deal at Barcelona, his agent has revealed. Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City have all been linked with a move for the Ivory Coast midfielder, but he is keen to stay with Catalan Treble winners. Cesc Fabregas stated this week that Toure, who is the brother of Arsenal defender Kolo, would be the ideal signing for the Gunners to bring stability and strength to their midfield, but Arsene Wenger is going to have to look elsewhere. "He is very happy at Barca and in the city," Toure's representative Dmitri Seluk is quoted as saying by Sport. Excellent "The atmosphere within the club is excellent and the team is marvellous and for those reasons he wants to stay and we should have a deal done this week." The tone is different from the one used by Seluk when he launched a scathing attack on the Blaugrana recently, accusing them of reneging on agreement to help Toure more. Seluk accused Barca of not looking after Toure properly, while he also accused president Joan Laporta of praising every other player bar his client. Looks like we wont get Yaya :( |
