Newcastle v West Ham 3-2 FT
Another important win for Newcastle. They are now 9 points away from the relegation zone and I'd say very likely to stay in the PL. |
wow :clap1: :clap1: Newcastle grabbing those important and unexpected points again
i am going to make a bold prediction and i can see Burnley ending up in danger zone, (i hope West Brom are also still going to keep up their good form, i think they are very much in with a chance of survival) |

West Ham have gifted Newcastle with 2 wins this season which West Ham ought to have won.
Although today West Ham could have likely won had they not had a player sent off. |
This very likely means that GW38 match Fulham v Newcastle is meaningless.

I still actually feel quite proud of how we played second half, to claw back 2-2 from 2-0 down with ten men is amazing. Sadly Dawson has started to become a bit of a liability with his clumsiness and picking up yellows and chickens came home to roost today
Our injury situation right now is worst in the league though, don't wanna hear any whinging from Liverpool fans |

B) We've had our best defender out for weeks, lost our best full back, haven't had our wing back, are now missing our best player who's a defensive midfielder, and have relied on a guy on loan from the Championship to carry our centre backs |
Bloody Hammers at the back letting down Lingardinho.

Sheffield Utd will be relagated tonight if they lose

Thank god for 7 minutes of stoppage time. VAR is a joke.
I'm starting to wonder if the refs are doing this on purpose to discredit the scheme. For Caballos goal to be ruled out because a different player - Saka - had one toe closer to the goal than the opposition is not what VAR is for. |

Stop drawing lines on the screen for off-sides (offside was never meant to be micro-analysed like that) or Only use it for penalty box decisions. |

I think these rules give a massive advantage to defenders. I remember when teams used to play for offside by all defenders stepping up the pitch as a unit. The great Milan teams of the late 80's and 90's were masters at it and it gave them a big advantage. Surely with this VAR nonsense they can start doing that again. Only a foot or a hand needs to be closer to the gaols so why not step up as a unit and, even if a goal is scored, VAR will almost certainly rule it out. They've got do something and its got to be in place by next seasons cuz some of the decisions these days are ruining the game |

Apparently the other countries don’t seem to be too bothered about VAR but they supposedly just get told the results and don’t get everyone annoyed as they don’t show all the lines on screen like we do in the uk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
After yesterday I just can't get excited for this game even though we are winning
