Getting rid of the Sharpe's as quickly as they did, didn't really make sense to me. Sure you can over cast and you're always taking a gamble when introducing a new family. With the Sharpe's though, they just weren't in the show long enough to make that decision (IMO)

It tells me a different story that the writers obviously didn't have a clue. I'm no expert on writing and creating characters for a story, however common sense tells me that if you're planning on introducing a new family, surely those plans would include at least 6 months (even 12) of stories/ideas where the new family is going to fit in.

I never understood why Corrie created the Morton's then after a month not really have a clue what direction they were planning which lead to the axing of the whole family.

Indeed, they built this family up and had storylines planned for them then scrapped it all of a sudden:conf:.

They have obviously reviewed how storylines are written from now on because there has been lots of behind the scenes changes at Hollyoaks HQ;).

The Jacqui and Rhys scenes are brilliant:).

She really is a one trip pony. I had hoped we'd seen the last of her.

She is so dull, she was better when she was all weird, but obviously she wasn't real then. She started off a right chav, and now she just a total different person

Most pointless character of the year goes to Rae i'm afraid.

I really liked Newt I thought his story was wonderfully told and found it really gripping at times, especially with Eli.

Not long after Rae came into the show full time I really started to find Newt boring and I didn't realise it was because of Rae. Now looking back all the signs were there.

Yeah, it got **** when he became obsessed with Rae, then changed his image and started going out with Theresa :bored:

It would've been great if they had a a gang around Gilly and Rhy's age that went to festivals and hung out at stuff. But they had to give them the most miserable storyline ever :bored: A post student gang in their late 20's would be great

I am really loving the acting, the stories and the emotions that are coming from the likes of Rhys & Jacqui. Yet in the same period we have the likes of Ethan and Liberty really bringing the show down.

I believe in the story with Rhys & Jacqui and no matter how I try and view it I simply can't believe in anything that involves Ethan and Liberty.

Hopefully Silas will kill Liberty and Ethan will witness this leading to Silas killing him too.

Liberty doesn't bother me as much anymore
