I am sobbing.

I'm over the bloody moon as his replacement was part of the show during its best years and storyline the Kat and Zoe story

So was Newman and we all know how that went.

But since he was involved in what was probaly the most recognised episode in EE history (I'm Your Muvva) I have high hopes plus DTC had also worked on the show and look how that turned out.

I expect a lot of returns from the early 2000s but I just hope he keeps the shocks in the episode

Yeah, that's one element of DTC's era I've really liked. I do think the "surprise" element has been wasted on certain characters (Jack and Ryan) but that doesn't mean it's not nice to not have everything spoiled for you months in advance.

Firewire 18-02-2016 02:29 PM

Alex Lamb is staying though and he's the one who actually comes up with the storylines

It's hard to tell how much impact DTC actually had

Ross. 18-02-2016 03:40 PM

nuJohnny

Scarily similar to Lee

Niamh. 18-02-2016 03:40 PM

How come they're replacing old Johnny anyway?

Ross. 18-02-2016 03:42 PM

He didn't want to come back iirc

He wasn't happy at the lack of stories he had in his one year on the show or something like that

He got the lead role in a big film

Ross. 18-02-2016 03:44 PM

Oh yeah that too

But doesn't the producer have all the ideas? Then it's down to the script writers/Storylines to make it into a script

Marsh. 18-02-2016 10:25 PM

Just catching up on this weeks.

Pam's reaction when Les admires her blouse. :joker:

Well his main stuff, the Carters, the rape and the whole Lucy shabang was his ideas apparently.

Marsh. 18-02-2016 10:59 PM

Sonia offering Tina a fish finger. :omgno:

If Babe's trifle was poisoned that would be lovely

Denver 19-02-2016 11:39 AM

The Sun claim The Kazemis, The Cockers, The Hubbard's and some of The Carters are at risk the most

The Gays, he looks like a homophobe

Denver 19-02-2016 12:50 PM

So does Elton John :oh:

Will. 19-02-2016 01:38 PM

Not fussed about the Carters or the Kazemis tbh.

The Hubbards have a lot of potential.

The Carters have had so many storylines than I don't think we will see different sides to them.

Rob! 19-02-2016 06:39 PM

If Shabnam isn't ever coming back then there isn't really a need for Kush anymore, which sadly means there isn't any need for Carmel either.

Rob! 19-02-2016 06:41 PM

But Craig Revel Horwood needs to become a regular :clap1:
