Barcelona are trying to celebrate their historic treble trophy haul by spending big this summer, and they will try to land Inter star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to reports.
Il Corriere Dello Sport claims the Blaugrana are drawing up a plan worth €60 million in an attempt to persuade Inter to part company with their man. The report suggests Barcelona president Joan Laporta has two ways of convincing Massimo Moratti to give up the Sweden star. The first will be offering a swap plus cash deal. It will consist of sending Samuel Eto'o to the San Siro and adding a further €20m into Moratti's account. This is an option which could convince the Nerazzurri as Eto'o has been in hot form this term, helping his side lift the European Cup - a trophy that Inter have been craving for over 40 years. |

"Arsenal to move for Everton defender Lescott The Daily Star claims Arsenal are interested in signing Everton’s Joleon Lescott and are willing to offer the Toffees £12 million for the defender. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has targeted his defence as a priority for strengthening over the summer." |
Keane was crap. Was always against his transfer, and that's when I thought it was 10 million, 19 million was daylight robbery.
Paris St. Germain midfielder Stephane Sessegnon has hinted that he could be on his way to the Premier League by stating that he will see what the French club's targets are for next season before making up his mind regarding his future. The Beninese midfielder has attracted the interest of many English sides in recent months with his impressive performances for the French club, and it looks as though he could make a move this summer. |

Mourinho enters running for Arsenal's midfield target 04:00 PM 31 May, 2009 Inter Milan have joined Arsenal in the chase for Barcelona’s Yaya Toure. Arsene Wenger sees Kolo’s brother as the ideal man to bolster his midfield ahead of the new season, and is reportedly planning an offer in the region of £14million to land the player. However, reports in Italy suggest Jose Mourinho is also keen on the 26-year-old, who he feels would be an ideal to his side as he looks to make a bid for UEFA Champions League glory next term. Despite this interest and the uncertain future surrounding Toure’s future earlier this season, though, the latest from Spain is that Barca are no longer looking to offload the player. The former Olympiakos and Monaco star has been an ever-present in Pep Guardiola’s side since Christmas, helping the Camp Nou side to La Liga, Spanish Cup and Champions League glory. Yaya Toure would be a great player to have in the Arsenal squad |

Lavezzi agent reveals Liverpool move close 31.05.09 | tribalfootball.com The agent of Napoli star Ezequiel Lavezzi has hinted a move to Liverpool is on for the Argentine whiz. “Whether he stays or not depends entirely on Napoli, but I think the club wants to sell him,” said agent Alejandro Mazzoni on Radio Kiss Kiss. “Napoli did not keep their promises. I have been waiting for a call from (sports director) Pierpaolo Marino since Sunday so we can have a meeting with the President, so it is difficult for us to know what the club wants. “I want to tell the fans that I have always been ready to come when the director calls and last time we spoke I told him of an important offer from a foreign club. “The President has not replied, not even when Pocho himself called. I am not an authorised FIFA agent and I cannot talk about this, but what I can say is there was a genuine offer and Marino turned it down.” He added: “Now there is an important offer on the table for both the player and the club, now I get the feeling Napoli want to sell him. “I wish to point out that Napoli are very important for Lavezzi, but we are talking about an English club that plays in the Champions League who are offering to treble his wages. “Football players are not slaves, they are people, and you can buy his contract but not his will.” |
