Rooney, Gerrard and Lampard will never make it as managers.

8th place , no European football ..

If he demands a move they won’t want to keep him - he’s moody enough at the best of times

Yeah , I agree .. just a couple of incidents in his past may hamper his chances

City owners trying to bully the PL.

if they operate so successfully within PL rules, why are they so desperate to see their end?

Looks like a potential quid pro quo dropping both law suits. Hopefully the league stands strong.

it's all a big mess. There is good reason to have rules that stop clubs allowing big losses, but, apart from that, the rest is big business doing what they do.

The premier league want the big money owners, indeed it could be argued that they need them. Personally, I don't think Man U owners should be allowed to put the club in huge amounts of debt based on the future speculation that they will still be able to service their debt loans decades into the future, but the premier league allow it

The premier league was never meant to be an organisation whose prime function was to be a financial regulator, and that is what it's become (when it suits them)

Yep

City using their vast wealth to pressurise the League .

looks to me like Newcastle will be all in behind Man City on this one as if that fairness rule is struck down, it opens the door for PIF to flood Newcastle with money.

I don't know enough about the law in that area to know if the PL acted illegally or not.

Citeh using Saudi money to bully the league

absolutely Vile

Zizu 04-06-2024 07:57 PM

Last night’s game was Southgate’s 94th in charge !!

We still don’t have tried and trusted playing system and won diddly squat squared !

Another wasted golden generation

What if you got your wish and it ended up taking something away from her game?

Some players do play better being more bulky.

Wayne Rooney
Troy Deeney
Akinfenwa (who used to play for Wycombe.)
Emile Heskey

They're just a few that I could think of.

That’s 4 out of 10,000 and Rooney was a freak of nature

TalkSport are reporting that Chelsea are trying to offload Gallagher for £50 million - his sale will apparently solve all their problems with ffp
