Really. ?!?

Wow ..

I had him down as one of your few successes !!

I don’t watch them as carefully or look as critically as you do but I only see Enzo and Thiago Silva as playing consistently well .

Caicedo is an effective stopper but he’s very poor on the ball in my view

Mudryk is a complete disappointment and ok so glad that Arsenal failed to sign him .

He's been extremely average, below average in fact. Chelsea wouldn't miss him in the slightest. And yes, Mudryk is another flop. Thiago Silva is a Chelsea legend, love the guy. Every young defender should look up to him. The ultimate footballer!

Why hasn’t he been the captain for the last ) years ( or however long he’s been with you ) ?

He seems such an obvious choice

Some people don't want to be captain. The responsibility would affect their ability to play

That’s clearly not Thiago Silva though.. he was captain of that dominant Milan side , PSG and Brazil for a while ..

i think he will be around the chelsea team for a long time to come, so he is perhaps playing it smart

I mean, even 3 years ago when he joined Chelsea he was 35/36, i guess not making him the captain the managers who have come and gone were probably looking to the future. I mean, yes James is injury prone, which is a damn shame, but without all those injuries he's got the potential to become a world class full back, and captain.

Mount was one we toyed with too, but he's just another massively over hyped young Englishman who will have an average career, and being an average player.

Hopefully he'll be offer a role behind the scenes, like coaching etc. I think he and his family are pretty settled in Europe too, i mean he was in Paris for like 10 years before came to London, and Milan before that.

Has anybody else been paying attention to Ramsdale's Dad criticizing Arteta in the Media because Arteta dared to prefer another Goalkeeper?:joker:

And look I get that he wants to defend his Son, but ultimately he is going to make Aaron Ramsdale's future interactions with Arteta a lot more awkward now.

i think they are already akward. Southgate told him he wouldn't be picked for england if he didn't get the games at arsenal, so Ramsdale wants to leave in january

Everton have been working with the PL to sort this and they get this punishment. City have 115 charges, Chelsea offering mortgage length contracts and have been laundering money for years, and we get crickets. It's better to lie and cheat than to try and work things out.

Really hope Everton stay up, as this is shameful.

Erik ten Hag has been told his managerial reign at Manchester United won’t last much longer in a brutal assessment of his coaching abilities and overall tenure at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have unquestionably regressed this season on the back of finishing third and winning the EFL Cup last term. Man Utd have lost nine of their first 18 matches across all competitions. Three of the defeats have come in the Champions League, a situation that leaves them bottom of Group A with two games to play.

With Sir Jim Ratcliffe primed to purchase a 25 percent stake in Man Utd, major change is afoot.

CEO Richard Arnold is the first casualty of those behind the scenes. Director of Football, John Murtough, could follow and is ‘vulnerable’, according to The Telegraph.
Ratcliffe will lean on legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson when making key decisions at Man Utd. Ferguson could have a say in who replaces Murtough, with six candidates already in the frame.

The Sun also claimed Man Utd’s playing personnel are in for a shock with Ratcliffe ready to sanction a squad ‘reset’.

Talk of Ten Hag getting the boot has also done the rounds, though most outlets insist the Dutchman will be spared.

I agree that it'll already be awkward, that's why Ramsdale's Dad making it worse isn't doing his son any favours with the club imo, after all Ramsdale only has to get past Raya who isn't exactly brilliant himself.

And Southgate is being a hypocrite imo, Henderson playing is okay even though he is playing in National League Saudi, but Ramsdale being number 2 at Arsenal could see him not being called up to the England squad?:conf:

I like Southgate and respect that he has done well for England over the years, but he needs to make sense when it comes to his process of picking players.

Money talks.

Just ask Newcastle when they "beat" Arsenal.

Or whoever targeted Liverpool against Tottenham.

Who would you want out of the three options to be your next Manager BOTS?

1. Frank Lampard

2. Steven Gerrard

3. Wayne Rooney (He should be sacked once he fails to beat the worst Championship side of all time)

bots 18-11-2023 09:13 AM

I dont care who the manager is, they need to terminate the contracts of most of the first team players and start again
