More of a 90s show, this still went on until 2004 where the final episode saw a long-overdue get-together of Ross and Rachel [well, I say long-overdue, it must have happened about 5 times?] It goes down as the 4th most-watched finale of all time, with 52.5 million viewers in the US alone.

I hate FRIENDS it's so overated

Potentially the most successful American drama of the decade - but not on this countdown. Following the aftermath of a plane crash on a remote island, Lost has continued to confuse watchers since its conception, with something weird about black smoke and polar bears? I don't watch it :p
