They made their seasons interesting. Almost movie like. This season pales in comparison.

I personally much prefer it when the contestants are new, especially after a few seasons of old contestants coming back.

Which is probably why I enjoy this season a fair bit, seems new and fresh; obviously coupled with the new twist on the game.

I wonder how well she would have done if she hadn't of walked :( I was gutted when she left.

Why is it that EVERY SEASON tribes vote off strong people? It's so dumb.

Alicia has sealed her own fate now, her and Christina will be off soon. And I wouldn't be surprised if Tarzan is the person who's hurt himself, he's so bliming old and fragile. The Manono tribe are so screwed, they got dealt a bad hand with all the rejects :laugh:

Colton is not so much a mastermind, more lucky to have such gullible and weak people who he can 'lead'.

Looks to be Christina next but they edited that well, possibly somebody from the other tribe or maybe it's not a vote because of the injury.

Also, why have they taken away the 'OneWorld' concept? Have them stay at the same beach fgs. I thought the tribe mixing up would be exciting, but the chips have fallen to badly in favour of the Salani tribe that it's going to almost be a whitewash in every challenge.

As much as i hate Colton, he really is making the show right now. His tribe is literaly full of IDIOTS. Colton and Alicia are literally running that tribe like a herd of cattle.

He'll be out soon after the merge i'm sure.

I can't even begin to pick a winner yet. i like the redneck model guy, he reminds me of Fabio, but it's just too early to tell.

i never said i liked him, i was just defending him against the homophobic TIDAL WAVE that was occuring last episode. I did the same for Russell Hanz. Another great unlikable character.

It is possible to appreciate someone as a CHARACTER on the show, without liking them.

The winner will be somebody like Kim, she's doing well at the moment, as long as they can throw one or two challenges and get rid of a few guys in their tribe, team up with Colton and Alicia from the other tribe, then they'll be golden.

That or Colton/Alicia will keep around the weak men (Tarzan, Jonas) and hope for the best in the merge. (individual immunities)

I can't imagine Colton or Alicia winning many individual immunity challenges after the merge...

In that sense though, Colton does have an advantage, he might make it to the end just because he's so unlikeable, people want to take unlikeable people with them to the end...

If people have any sense then they'll vote off Colton after the merge or pre-merge.

He's a snake and he's very manipulative, which usually doesn't get rewarded in the end too well (Russell) but I have always thought that's what makes a worthy winner.

It was no real surprise that Monica went, the tribes are still thinking as they were before the merge. So the men on that tribe figured it was a great opportunity to get rid of a strong woman.

I think they took away the OneWorld concept because a) it wasn't all that great to begin with, and b) more importantly, to give the new groups a chance to bond and form alliances/relationships without the possibility of genders sticking together on the One world beach. At least that was my take.

Not sure the men had anything to do with it, but Colton by himself as a single entity, the master of puppets. He's working some kind of gameplan and it's been interesting watching itself work out thus far. As much as Tarzan seems like a nice guy and fairly genuine/unique/etc, I would rather have seen him go.

I don't know, she found herself in a tribe where she was outnumbered. So if she stuck with the other girls, she would go for sure. But now she has a chance of surviving to a merge.
