Controversial..most would say that.

I disagree, considering her music has many million views on youtube (2nd most ever or 1st? I can't remember)
She has 32m twitter followers 20m+ came after the incident), and she gets many #1's) I think saying she ONLY will be remembered for that alone is just wrong tbh

The song same love by Macklemore has a great message and I thank him for actually stopping kids throwing the word Gay around like a tennis ball, but, the tune and singing is awful. Awful song with a good message.

MeMyselfAndI 07-10-2013 04:17 PM

Lmao, he hasn;t stopped it. I heard so many gay insults today, most I found funny though I dek why

And no it's not, look at single & album sales from BTW, and Applause will be even lower than that

BTW hardly did terrible now did it, and admittedly Judas/MTN didn't do as well as the others but on the whole it did pretty good, and the tour figures speak for themselves.

I was going on about in comparison to TFM, If there was a graph it would be going downwards at quite a fast rate

Both Singles & Albums

I agree to a degree, it's probably the only reason she's as big as she is now, she certainly had the GP sympathy for a couple of years afterwards

wtf :conf: she's been the biggest popstar in the world since 2007, she has so much more of a diverse fan base than other female popstars (Gaga - gays, Britney - well groomed gays, Beyonce - loud black gays etc.) and will be remembered more for We Found Love and probably even Umbrella than the domestic violence case. She was already huge before the assault, Chris Brown didn't make her bigger at all because she only has one album to match the success she had in 07/08 (Loud). She'll even be remembered more for her hairstyles than the domestic violence case. Doubt the majority of under-14s are even aware.

Rihanna is consistent to be fair, she has a huge hit each album & she is always known and talked about. Lady Gaga on the other hand http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/3531/jiw.gif

this is so true, she peaked too early.

Jordan. 07-10-2013 05:10 PM

It's easy for Rihanna to be successful when she doesn't care about having any input in her career http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/3531/jiw.gif

Rihanna has had more cultural impact than Gaga too. When she got those hairstyles in 2007 & 10 every girl aged 11-16 tried to look like her

Um she had huge input with GGGB and Rated R, she was the one who chose to put them in their directions and they happened to be her most successful and her most critically acclaimed albums respectively. She's also cowritten a lot of her discography, so please shut up before I smash your broken PS3 over your head http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/3531/jiw.gif
