Schippers beating Felix :worship:
|
Jodie Williams 20.60 PB :worship:
|
Hope Schippers chooses Heptathlon over Individual Sprints... she definitely won't beat KJT overrall but could easily beat any of our female individual british sprinters
|
Didn't Schippers get Bronze last year at the World Champs? not much in it between them two
|
What the **** happened to the GB B team :joker:

Alison Leonard confirming her spot in Zurich
Selectors now choose between Judd and Meadows, although the decision seems pretty clear to me. |

EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS TEAM GB SQUAD :
Spoiler: |
The World Junior Championships start on Wednesday, it's on Eurosport if you want to watch it. It lasts for 6 days, and the last few days of it clash with the Commonwealths.
Morgan Lake, Dina Asher Smith and Desiree Henry are some the big names representing Team GB, as well as Zharnel Hughes who is from Anguilla but will most likely represent Britain at the next Olympics due to Anguilla not being eligible to compete in Olympics. He's broke Yohan Blake's and Usain Bolt's junior records too. |
Tiffany Porter beating Sally Pearson and Rollins at the anniversary games
|
Tiffany is getting better and better IMO, although she's still not at the top yet.
|
Katarina Johnson Thompson has pulled out of the Commonwealth Games due to injury :bawling:
|
Wow?
Are you serious.. |
Wow?
Are you serious.. |
Meghan Beesley has also pulled out of the 400mH due to injury :bawling:
|
**** sake, and Cavendish as well, although that was predictable
|
World Juniors in Eugene start tomorrow if there's any interest in that
|
Chambers out of the Commonwealths now
|
Dina Asher Smith looks like she'll win the World Juniors with ease, no one seems on her level based on heat performances.
Morgan Lake is leading the heptathlon after Day 1 as well. |
US hasn't been off to much a good start all in World Juniors (lane violation for Shaina Burns in the Hep 200, Haley Showalter fouling all her HTs, Raevyn Rogers and Sabrina Southerland not making the 800 final, Ariana Washington randomly dropping into 11.6-11.7 range - I could go on and on) but an awesome 1-2 finish in the mens 100 with Kendal Williams and Trayvon Bromell (who has a sub 10 PR ), even crazier considering Trentavis Friday ran 10.00 in the US Junior prelims and false started the final. Also 11.45 into a headwind for bronze isn't bad at all for Kaylin Whitney. 16 years old and broke the US high school record with 11.10 at US Juniors so she should have a bright future (except for the fact that she trains with a bunch of professional dopers but yeah.)
I'm not as in touch with the British stuff but I try to be as well-informed as I can (along with Canada and Australia, basically any country with English-speaking BB #shameless) and Dina Asher-Smith won the 100 in 11.23 and Morgan Lake with 6148. Another interesting note - no Jamaican in either 100 final  |
