Ammi 03-03-2014 04:00 AM

...ahhh, thanks Claudia..night/morning Shaun..it looks as though it was a good award show, even though the stream has a big black box over all of the faces in mine...

Don't worry about that it's just a deadly Virus

arista 03-03-2014 06:03 AM

That was was the worst Oscars Presentation
Fecking Ellen

And nothing original at the start
they have done some great funny ones
at the start.

Using Ellen
Dumbed Down Horror

arista 03-03-2014 06:05 AM

meh, I liked her

infinitely better than the appallingly self-appreciative MacFarlane

bring back Jon Stewart though. She is a bit try-hard.

Yes far better than
TV style Dumbed Down Ellen

arista 03-03-2014 07:36 AM

Well Done the Hollywood Reporter
telling the World
Ellen DeGeneres Fecked the Oscars
and bombed it.

Presentation Matters

Black Dagger 03-03-2014 08:24 AM

Don't you slag off my Ellen, Arista.. although she is very overhyped with her "QUEEN OF THE LESBIANS" shtick.

Oh and Will Butler was robbed.

smeagol 03-03-2014 08:36 AM

mostly disappointing and predictable. gravity should never win best direction for a cgi movie.
12 years a slave is not a great film , there's better movies and better acting. it wins cause of the subject
and blue jasmine really hmm

very political the oscars , wheres de caprios oscar and martins.

as for ellen god i hate that woman

They spent 3 years getting it right

And Ellen Destroyed the Show by being there

Shaun 03-03-2014 05:08 PM

Di Caprio's oscar is waiting for him to actually do a great performance... because he hasn't even been "really good" yet. He's average.

are you of your head lol

nice joke

Shaun 03-03-2014 05:30 PM

Nope. Last night there were at least two FAR greater performances than him - Chiwetel's and Matthew's - and in the past he's always been nominated for "OK" performances... The Aviator, The Departed, Revolutionary Road... the only good performance I can recall was What's Eating Gilbert Grape.

Every film I've seen him in he's just... I don't know... he gives me the impression he's not really stretching himself. He's not very method.

I mean I enjoy his films, sure, but I don't think he's a great actor.

Brother Leon 03-03-2014 05:35 PM

Di Caprio should of had one for Arnie Grape or even Blood Diamond maybe (Sorry Jamie Foxx). He didn't warrant one this year though. Matthew and Chiwetel were both better and were parts of the two best movies this year imo.

Josy 03-03-2014 05:39 PM

Matthew definitely deserved his award last night IMO.

He's now completely transformed from a meh actor into one of these method actors that show extreme (sometimes too much) dedication to playing the role they are given.

smeagol 03-03-2014 05:54 PM

Leo. mathew and christian bale are probably the 3 best actors there is at the moment
lawrence is also great and she should of won without doubt.

gravity winning best direction is very poor. the whole thing is cg1. looks great but that's not direction in the normal sense . what scorsese does is a lot harder. now how he hasn't won again is shocking.

twitter fans of leo were going nuts you should of gone on there shaun and said he was average lol

Shaun 03-03-2014 06:03 PM

i did  i got one favourite
