That's not the point is it really?... He was in a car going over 100mph, he had suggested it could happen one day, and it did... Didn't affect how his fans saw him did it?

It's not what point? lol You just basically said that he killed his friend by driving him into a tree...........

Ugh anyway, i don't even know what point you're trying to make here, what has he got to do with Peaches Geldof dying?

I find that nothing ever comes of discussion of famous deaths other than hysteria, snap judgments and ill-informed opinion.

It's a sad event, but it needn't turn into some discussion of how all suicide victims are evil (btw, this opinion is total arse from start to finish) before it's even been ruled as one.

I don't understand why unqualified people like Hopkins or peaches are invited on tv to act as professionals in this complex field. I think its dangerous nonsense. to see these semi celebrities then paid a whole load of money for this devalues society and devalues the qualifications of the experienced experts in their particular fields

I also think society and women in particular need to practice what they preach and spend less time obsessing on appearance and even less time pressurising other women how to look and dress and eat etc

putting peaches on tv as thin as she was with her health problems as a role model to all other women was surely dangerous. they see a very thin beautiful young woman and they seem to follow her every word like Gospel. when in reality she seems to have had an eating disorder and other issues

the press reports are harrowing I also find to hard to believe but it says she was tweeting online and taking posting photos of her beloved 19 minutes before she passed away. tragically not knowing she was dying imminently. again we as a society spend more time on image and ego that's doing whats healthy and right

Peaches was only on this morning to discuss attachment parenting, as that was part of the discussion that day, as a parent who used the technique herself....
Not a saint an expert or mother earth, just a parent.

leave it to the experts. a persons private parenting of babies isn't exactly ideal fodder for mainstream tv.

You've obviously never watched daytime TV. :umm2:

I'd take a segment on parenting over the "Doctor examines old man cock" any day on This Morning.

Kizzy 08-04-2014 03:31 PM

Do you know any 'expert' parents?.... I don't, it's not an exact science.

Brother Leon 08-04-2014 03:34 PM

I know very little about her apart from the fact she's Bob's daughter. That is no age whatsoever though :(

Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof (13 March 1989 – 7 April 2014) was an English journalist, television presenter and model.

They need to show it on TV
again now - late night

OMG got axed ITV2

[In 2011, Geldof presented a six-part series on ITV2 called OMG! with Peaches Geldof, a magazine-format chat and guest show with audience participation.]

This made me laugh. The whole story makes female gamers look horrible. Peaches is a massive ******* though, so it's expected.

No

Marsh. 08-04-2014 04:01 PM

So it was like Lily Allen's show. She was given it because of her name and it was pap.

She was like no other Young Presenter
A ITV2 producer just on Ch5HD News
said she was younger than everyone
and could win in a talk out.

Her latest contract was with "mother and baby magazine"
she was still writing the next bit.

Also Police have not confirmed what they have taken from that home

She was only 25 I cant see a juice diet being cause of death. Something like that leads to health problems but would usually take a very long time to become life threatening.

Look at Nikki Grahame she was extremely anorexic and close to death and had a poor diet for over 20 years yet is still alive and well and was far beyond a simple juice diet.

Its very sad news about Peaches, I remember watching her on This Morning and how many people were tweeting about how someone had finally told Katie Hopkins what they really thought of her.

Sorry but should have been Katie who went.

25 ffs!

I do feel for her family, especially her two little boys. But I hardly recognise this woman that's being portrayed in the press and on here as the same Peaches Geldoff I knew before she died and became a combination of saint and Mother Earth.

Noone is portraying her as that at all.

People are just actually being genuinely saddened by her passing. It pisses me off so much that people take that as arse licking, its not it just a thing called RESPECT.

Depends if it was Extreme and Total.

Have Non Stop Juice Diet is danger

I think this thread is quite restrained, just people posting their shock and paying their respects. It is always quite shocking when someone young and in the public eye dies, even more so in this case because of what happened with Paula Yates and Michael Hutchence before that, a family beset by tragedy.
