Viacom haven't seen that many 1m ratings since they took over the channel so this is spectacular for them. Bye to the disdain for it I suspect.

Jarrod 08-01-2015 05:04 PM

Just had some ratings information through from the press team.

-In terms of share, last night's launch as the second highest ever on Channel 5, behind the first series in August 2011
- While on air, C5 was the second most popular channel behind BBC 1
- Across the day, C5 claimed 7.1% of all viewers. As such it was their highest day since March 2012. Additionally, the share of 16-34's hit 10.9% which has not been beaten since May 2010

ALL VIEWERS:
3.3. Million/16.3% share - +210% on vs slot

16-34's:
29.9% share - +399% vs slot.

:clap1: CBB isn't going anywhere

daniel-lewis-1985 08-01-2015 05:10 PM

Anyone who has virgin a heads up there seems to be a cock up and its down as a repeat.

Ive got it as a series link and its not set to record tonight.

Odd.

Rob! 08-01-2015 05:18 PM

Any news for the live feed?

Ross. 08-01-2015 05:20 PM

mrmattybeck1 08-01-2015 05:45 PM

*mazedsalv** 08-01-2015 08:37 PM

Same didn't see cbb trend once tonight either :worry:

bbuk_fans 09-01-2015 09:08 AM

2.4, beat itv but massive drop

mrmattybeck1 09-01-2015 09:09 AM

2.6m with plus one

*mazedsalv** 09-01-2015 09:32 AM

2.6m incl +1 is very decent. Actually its the 2nd most watched first HL show of the CH5 era just behind CBB8. Yes, CBB13's first episode was on a Saturday, but the 2.6m beat every single rating bar one on the first full week of last January's run. I think that CH5 beat ITV again too.

Me too. It looks very healthy. If it stays within that range, that would mean around a 3m official which would match last January! For it to be the lowest winter edition, it would need to fall below CBB9s 2.6m official (2.2m overnight).

I've noticed the c5 era of the show numbers are holding up much better than c4s later years

Will. 09-01-2015 09:51 AM

Fantastic!!! Nearly 1 Million up on CBB 13 first highlight show which got 1.85!

Will. 09-01-2015 09:55 AM

2.35 (10.1%) without +1, then 202k (1.2%)+1. So in total 2.57 (11.3%)

*mazedsalv** 09-01-2015 10:27 AM

Wow that's impressive

Rob! 09-01-2015 10:57 AM

Wow, that's fantastic!
Hoping tonight will do well. Considering that CBB has viewers that just tune into launch night, that retention rate is pretty impressive.

Rob! 09-01-2015 11:01 AM

Once again came second in it's slot too!

ITV is woeful these days BBC always seem to do well with their dramas

Kai Anders 09-01-2015 11:45 AM

These ratings b giving me heart ****ms!

daniel-lewis-1985 09-01-2015 01:00 PM

Brilliant share of 10%

Seems the whole channel has been given a boost in ratings since CBB has started.

This time last week it looked like a limp dick but now other shows are rating over 1 million again.

Jake. 09-01-2015 01:05 PM

:clap1: very impressive
