Nearly 800,000 signatures on the petition now. It's the second biggest ever on Change.org behind this one: https://www.change.org/p/over-200-gi...ngbackourgirls

it annoys me that people care more about defending a bigot than something like FGM, world hunger, global warming.. something that actually matters.

this incident happened at 10pm at night

But Jezzer has the full support of her majesty's government:

Mr Cameron said yesterday: 'He's a huge talent. Because he is such a huge talent and he amuses and entertains so many people, including my children, who'd be heartbroken if Top Gear was taken off air, I hope this can be sorted out.'

Asked if he enjoyed the show, Mr Clegg replied: 'I quite like it, yes. It makes me laugh.'

and leading politician and man of the people Nigel Farage also gave his support

'I do enjoy Top Gear, it's very entertaining. Deliberately provocative and controversial and whenever I sit down and watch it I always laugh.'

Ed miliband is said to have been watching Call the Midwife.

People will get over this in a month. The bbc needs to stay firm in their decision.

armand.kay 13-03-2015 08:36 AM

I'm a fan of the show and will be sad if its cancelled but his behavior is awful so I would rather he wasn't rewarded for being a douche.

I know I've never punched someone in the face during a row anyway and he's not on a final warning for no reason :nono:

If it involves a producer of the show you're working on and is because of hospitality issues provided for by the show.........then yes

Crimson Dynamo 13-03-2015 09:16 AM

but if it involves the biggest cash cow at the bbc?

well, we shall see (not that JC cares 2 hoots)

I don't for one second think he'll be sacked tbh but I wish he was

I heard bookies are taking bets on replacements if he is sacked, Chris Evans is top of the list. I think that'd be an interesting turn of events. I used to love Chris Evans in the 90's. TFI Friday :worship:

Exactly, it would likely seem odd at first but if the programme itself is good enough usually changes can be coped with.

If he wasn't on it, I for one would start watching it again.
